So lemme get this straight. The skeletons entire economy is dependent on a certain amount of skeletons accidentally going too far and pulling the hair out, which turns them into a regular pile of bones. Therefore becoming another skeletons money. “That’s why they’re out, to get their bones from you” refers the pile of bones next to you because a skeleton pulled your hair “out” instead of just “up.” This causes a sort of “bone rush”. (Side note: a gold rush story is on par with country themes.) The fix with “so are the worms” is very confidently stated. This actually makes sense because if all the skeletons are too good at pulling hair up and not out, or if it’s been a while since the skeletons came to life, the skeleton economy would crash therefor making worms the most valuable currency, via trade. Deeper theory. The two songs actually ARE one. The bassist (Billy2) is confused because Billy 1 is saying he was murdered, yet he’s standing there singing about it. He’s not just doing improv. Billy1 must have been brought back to life on the night the skeletons came to life. Which is also the day he died. Billy 2 is just explaining how this is all possible. He even states at the end how confused he is with everyone. The song is actually genius and he knows it. Billy2 is the only sane one.

I just keep rewatching it to study it now. I almost needed to be hospitalized the first time I saw it, I feel like I'll never reach that high again with how terrible the comedy is that gets pushed into the spotlight.

It kills me every time I watch it...esp when he says “exactly”. I do wish this clip was the whole sketch.

As if the whole sketch wasn’t enough, I get floored every single time he ends with “No, and that’s why I’m so F--ING confused!”.

One of the best songs of all time, Tim

I love that Tim invented a new voice and created an entire comedy show around it

Tim's part is what I sound like when I try to describe my DnD homebrew to somebody who doesn't play.

No one has mentioned that he just randomly adds the part about “never seeing so much food as this” because “underground there’s half as much food as this” when at no other point in the song is he talking about food or eating lmao

I swear the actor who is the 'lead' singer is trying not to crack up for the last half of the sketch
