The Day the Dam Broke (An EAS Scenario) - For Fall Brawl 2023

Moseliam Creek would be regarded by many as an unremarkable waterway. One where you can go canoeing or catch the odd fish. The creek's been part of the landscape of the TN-VA Quadrangle for as long as locals can remember; the quaint waterway that runs from west of Marysburg through Aradopolis, into Lake Hardin, before winding its way through the Dianam Valley to the Tennessee River near Morristown.
Serene, calm. The way it's almost always been.
However, one day in September, an extropical storm, and an aging dam could test that notion for the first time in half a century.

This reminds me of what happened in my city. My city doesn't get much rain or snow, and is considered the sunniest city in my country. 10 years ago, there was a massive rainfall that lasted for at least a week. There's a river that goes through the middle of my city, which ended up flooding. People living close to it had to be evacuated, and some didn't survive.

I have noticed that in the video itself many of the text messages that you show on the video specially when describing events only stay up long enough that you can only read half of the information and not the whole thing. One should be able to read everything that you are trying to describe in clarity and even the best speed readers would have trouble reading many of the text information that you place on the screen. I would recommend having a longer delay of the text staying on the screen so that the reader would have a chance to read the complete text of what you put on the screen and it would be more realistic. I also noticed some spelling errors on the screen with some of the texts information that was being presented.

Are the locations fictional? I'm from NE Tennessee and haven't heard of any of these lakes and villages besides a couple. Good scenario btw EDIT: Never mind, I saw the map and I figured it out.

Yeah...I wanted to make a scenario that isn't necessarily set in real-life places, per se, but set in a semi-fictional region that sounds believable
