I’m starting to get a lot of comments on this video regarding current events. This video is in NO WAY attempting to fearmonger. This is a personal, fun little project I made based off of an 80s movie. If you want to use my videos as a way to spread political agendas, leave. Edit: STILL getting them. I don’t care who you are, what it’s about, or who you support. If you really feel the need to spew this stuff, cry about it somewhere else and not here. If you can’t tell, I DO NOT APPRECIATE POLITICAL STATEMENTS ON THIS CHANNEL. This is supposed to be a fun and safe place. You’re not proving any points.

Right?! I've tried to engage some of these fearmongers/folks convinced a nuclear was is just around the corner? Don't if you value your sanity and patience lol. I've asked a few here and there to have a conversation and see where their logic comes from, they won't answer or talk in circles. Some just repeat what they post everywhere else and that's it. People today really blow my mind!!

Indeed. One that comes to mind was during the Cold War. Long story short, aboard a Soviet sub loaded with nuclear weapons, the captain (obviously) wrongly believed war had broken out between the US and the Soviet Union. He in turn wanted to attack the US with their nuclear weapons they had. To do so, the three highest ranking officials aboard had to provide authorization. The only reason the weapons never launched was because, of the three, only one official held out--Vasily Arkhipov. Even American government officials have credited him as certainly preventing World War III and multiple nuclear attacks from both sides. This was such a serious moment it was even described as being "the most dangerous moment in human history". That man actually "only" died in just 1998, at that.

@phils4634
@phils4634 Жыл бұрын
Already happening, and started a long time ago. Things that certainly helped it along were the EU's efforts to economically destroy Russia via sanctions / SWIFT embargoes, etc. (there were many discussions on how Russia would be conveniently broken up into "manageable" statelets), Vicki Nuland and the State Department's blatant coup in Ukraine (remember "Nat's our man?"), and the subsequent attacks on the mainly Russian-speaking people in Lugansk and the Donbass, which has led the West to where we are in the Ukraine quagmire. Add in those very provocative "Freedom of Navigation" exercises by the US in the entirely Chinese Taiwan Straits (definitely Chinese territory - and the US even recognises this on its Foreign Affairs web-pages), apart from the fact that FoN only applies to Commercial, NOT military vessels. So, the US has been very keen to stoke the current problems in the EU (and by cutting the supply of Russian LNG, making a killing by selling US LNG for FOUR times the price of the Russian product), and is equally proactive in stirring things up in what is after all China's back yard. Russia and China are beyond-peer adversaries (Russia has far better military capability, China is the World's largest manufacturing Country), and both enjoy the "home" advantage where logistics is concerned. Be very aware that the US SecDef, Lloyd Austin, mentioned in March this year that the US "will be at war with China by 2025", which is 14 months away. So, unless the West Hierarchy start to behave like adults, and show clear willingness to de-escalate and accept Russia AND China's terms, yes, we are really heading this way, especially since the West currently seems keen on escalation against Countries that both possess absolute escalatory dominance.

And at this point I think it’s best we turn off the comments section in this video and other videos related to things like nuclear conflict on your channel, it’s still happening from what I seen probably

While I do not appreciate those comments, I can moderate them easily enough where I don’t need to disable comments. If things get worse, though…

yeah I guess moderating them is more easy, hoping for the best case scenario here and these comments die off

I'm curious why you chose 1989? The Cold War was all but over. the citizens of WP countries were all looking West and dumping anything remotely Communist. I'd say the last year any such WWIII event could've taken place was perhaps 1987. 1980-1984 however were the most likely years for a war scenario. I too lived through the nuke days being a teen during the early to mid 80s. A close friend and I were convinced war was coming in September 1983. This was a few days after the KAL 007 downing. We had no idea how close we all came until years later concerning the events of the night of September 26, 1983.

It is based on the movie "The Day After", so that's likely why.

Probable attack in Kansas City lol. Outside of the craziness of what's her name with what's his name, which has dominated local news here, KC is as dull as it gets. Nothing crazy really happens here lol. Sure you can say, never say never. But after being here all my life, I am definitely coming close to saying never lol.

Kansas City was home to many silos during the Cold War. From Kansas City to Cape Girardeau Missouri was the most probable site for a nuclear attack by the Russians.

And the sad but scary part is we are at an elevated phase where this may just be coming true because of our current leader is incapable of protecting our borders as such, I live within an hour or so between Topeka and the same thing with Kansas City Kansas so things would get a little shaky where I'm at good thing my town ain't considered but still you have to be sheltered at hunkered down for a bit because being within a hundred miles or less there's going to be some serious damage to everything

"Protecting our borders" lol. Which borders though? Oh wait, those borders! Come on now, don't be like that okay? Also, KCMO and Topeka is about an hour apart, so there is no "an hour or so between" the two cities.

@@stormcooper When someone brings up something about the border like that person did, it tells me they aren't as concerned about attacks from other continents. Instead, their focus on the "invasion" of people from Mexico lol. Pretty sad really. Because if these people really are concerned about OUR borders, then they should be wanting around a border around the entire 48 contiguous states, as well as a border around Alaska and Hawaii. But no one ever says that, because reasons lol.

I’m thinking of Russia hearing this. This morning on my phone on October 4th of 2023 in 3 days at 2:20 pm eastern standard time in every state including Alaska and Hawaii there’s going to be a Nation wide emergency alert. I know America will always be under attack.
