I enjoy learning new languages and find that when listing vocabulary, writing the English word first and then the equivalent word in the target language you are learning is helpful with memorization. When you are reviewing the list, you can pause after reading the English vocab and rack your brain to see if you can recall the word in Korean. HTH! I just discovered your channel tonight and am enjoying your content so far!

Ok woke up in the middle of the night and watched latest vid. Will have to watch again when I am fully awake. Due to becoming BTS army have followed several Americans who live in Seoul, am always amazed at the language skills that is takes to function successfully in Korea. This has once again encouraged me to attempt to learn the language, thanks!💜

Wait I was so confused, I thought you were korean lol! Hope your studies go well and it becomes easier and less anxiety-inducing! I am the same with languages, alltough I know it, I still get very nervous to read out loud in front of the class, even when it's my native language😵‍💫 (German). When I was studying Italian, what helped me was writing all the words I struggled with each on a sticky note and sticking them to random places in my apartment... (seriously, put them in the fridge if you must lol!) Suddenly you see them so much more, while doing dishes or cooking, brushing your teeth or getting ready. Maybe you can give that a try! We often find it easier to remember something when we connect it to a place, time or emotion... Hope all goes well! ☺

Best of luck on your class! Good luck with everything you'll need to learn and pass! I'm glad you were able to buy the book you needed. Those "choco-mint" things looked good. The kind of things I could finish in no time since I'm a chocoholic. Question: is there any time of night that you'd feel unsafe being out alone? or certain areas to avoid? Have you thought of doing an Amazon Wish List thing, so that people can buy you stuff you need? Nice video, very relaxing and enjoyable. 👍☮

Thanks!! Seoul is super safe so I don't really worry about it unless it's like a super sketch looking alley or something. Amazon doesn't really work in korea that well actually cause of the shipping, I hope people will just enjoy the vids😊

Release your fears when learning a language. You're going to mess up, just blah blah blah through it. The more mistakes you make the more you learn. Keep up with the class, as you are doing, and relax. It's just a language. Peace relax love life

I want to go to university in Korea so bad, but I got my GED rather than finishing high school:( I'm hoping I can transfer after starting university in the states, but I don't know.

You could always study abroad for a year! I think its much easier to do it that way than trying to apply directly but im not sure. You could also apply to language programs during the summer or a gap year or something. Where there's a will, there's a way😊 best of luck!!

I think some people enjoy them, maybe more extroverted people would find them fun! But if you're rather introverted like me then maybe... a bit less fun haha. But either way, great to learn (and/or simply to force you to study)
