@harbinmandarin can I ask why you say eg, Monday as week one ( xingqi yi ) and not Day one or week day one ( di yi tian ).? Or does it matter.? Thanks 🙏

I grew up believing mandarin was next to impossible to learn. It’s actually easier than English in many ways, and such a cool language to know - even at a basic/intermediate level.

​@anthonyfernandez4332 Speaking vs reading /writing are separate. You can speak and understand a language without reading/writing. My grandfather spoke 7 language fluently because the Army. He even spoke Korean, Vietnamese and Japanese fluently without knowing how to read or write it. He would go to Japanese, Koreans and Vietnamese and start talking to them and they would have a surprised look on their face. Especially since he looked Mexican 😂

I like the way you teach. You repeat the words--normal, fast and slow--several times and that makes it easier for beginners to learn the correct pronunciation. A least for me, there's no other better way to learn what I consider a not-so-easy language such as Mandarin.

Your video's are really good and helps me with school (where I study Mandarin) . It is really helpful how you repeat and say the words clear, it is also a plus how you move with your hands for the pronounciating. Very good teacher indeed! Well prepared lessons! Still I feel that the pronunciation with the tones is the most difficult part of Chinese so far....gosh it´s almost impossible to know if I´m pronouncing correctly!
