Even though i dont like that a coach puts himself in the spotlight, he is pretty much the only one promoting this fight properly. The UFC media team could have done way more work, the UFC heavyweight champion could literally beat pretty much every human on the planet in a fight without weapons and they dont wanna promote that? They had a long time to promote this fight but they didnt so its obvious that Dana has issues with Francis about the contract, so petty.

For all you people calling this man two face, maybe you're right. That's your opinion not the facts. You don't know the full story. You're just regurgitating Fernand Lopez narrative. Apparently in an interview in French he even told people to look for a single video where Francis thanked him and he would give 10 000 euros to whoever does but as soon as people started sending him multiple videos proving it he never responded to them or kept his word. Nobody knew him as a coach outside of France before Francis Ngannou fought under his gym so he should be the one thanking Ngannou

As much as I liked Francis I have lost some respect for him over this matter, disrespecting the Coach/MAN who truly gave you your start and career is like disrespecting your family. One can simply move on and say Coach I love ya and TY for all you have done for me BUT it's time for a change and still have that good relationship. However it truly seems like the animosity has come from Francis and NOT Coach Lopez, every time I have seen this man he's been truly genuine and without ill intent. In reality it seems like there is animosity without Just Cause and that is truly sad, Loyalty should always be Loyalty unless stabbed in the back and to this I have seen NONE of this from Coach Lopez. I will say this Francis should be careful Ciryl is a Man on a Mission and part of that is to show his Loyalty and Love for his Coach and School. If anyone can Sleep Francis it's Ciryl.. Great Interview DC!!

No DC, no scholarship... in France, it is common to have people training for free in gyms. It is part of the French mentality with social system, health system and free education. Not like in the USA where you have to pay for everythings. Now that MMA is legalized since few months, the French MMA fighters are coming to USA ;) The French style MMA is based on striking, fast, speed and foot work. But, judo is also part of the French loving sport... Thks F. Lopez to show to the world your hard work. For this match, Francis' defense should be enough to handle Cyril's attacks. Therefore, Francis will counter attack and KO Cyril. Agree with DC, Cyril might not able to take Francis' legs as Stipe can do. So, I still see Francis for the win at the end of the 3rd round.
