I am a Francis fan but it’s so hard not to root for Cyril he just does and says all the right thing! New breed and a breath of a fresh air! His secret is just simple. He doesn’t look at it as a fight. To him it’s just like playing football or basket ball. I knew this before he even said it it’s obvious. He doesn’t stress or get nervous and he certainly doesn’t catch feelings! This guy is wired differently!

I know they're genuinely nice guys but I think part of the reason the heavyweights are often so chill while the lighter weight classes can be so insulting and confrontational is the same reason why a lion also seems at ease when not on a hunt: they're already at the top of the food chain and don't have to prove anything to anyone :).

Crazy thing is......they are creating that new era right now. In about 3-4 yrs I believe,HW division will be more popular than ever. Francis is a much improved version of himself with that titan bomb in his hands,Ciryl Gane and Tom Aspinall who bring a complete MMA package to the division,skillfull and technical. Jon Jones hopefully fighting soon,obviously speaks for itself. Great times to be a fan of the sport for sure ✌
