To the people who say rock is dead, no it's not! It's still out there, you just have to dig a bit for it. You won't find it on the radio or on the charts. You'll always find it if you look hard enough. Support these artists! Buy their albums. Don't pirate. They need our support.
@mark33608 жыл бұрын
Dead right (see what i did there lol) buy the cds, these Bands need our encouragement and support. It doesn't bother me thet folk say "this sounds like Aerosmith or some othe Band" so what, nearly everyone will compare songs with other Bands and genres, you can't play a blues song without it being compared to the Blues legends of years gone by, and by their very greatness and ground breaking music the legends of the 60's & 70's will always resonate in the music of todays Bands

Don't buy the CDs, the money goes to the record company not the bands. Go to the shows, buy the merch, that's where the money is at for bands
@gsoltis297 жыл бұрын
Of course go to shows and buy merch but always buy the album. Most of these guys distribute the albums through small networks and get a much bigger share of the profits than the old days with major labels. Just the idea the people are buying the music gives these guys a reason to keep going - even if they get a smaller cut. Plus if you don't buy the album they have no idea where there fan base is......

Ok I know big deal right but as drummers dang I see that the Dead Daisies put away some of the old style of rests and fills of rock. I feel the band went extra outside of the box with drummer Brian. His patent drum patterns of odd times makes me feel I need to pay real close attention. I can see yet feel Brian's grooves will not always fall into normal counts as one would think. Yet this gives the song a nice unpredictability that still flows. Just shows how great Master Brian is knowing it's not real easy to pull this off. He still makes you feel it's a walk in the park but of course that's what a real master can do. God given gifts.
