The newer version of True Grit was added to my all time favorites. I loved how their use of language and dialogue was so precise and different from traditional western speech used in movies.

@@MovieReviewMom I was pretty sure you’d like it. Sometimes you run across some gems that don’t get much attention but are really worthwhile. I’ve seem some interviews and background story on Musica. I love that his mom in the film is his mom. Also fun to know Rudy Mancuso has the condition where he hears rhythm all around him. Cute kid, fun actor, great chemistry with Camila Mendes. Another hidden gem I may have recommended is “The List of Tiny Perfect Things.” With a very cute young couple…kind of a take on Groundhog Day theme.
