Hey, everyone, author here. The last story (and the longest by quite a bit) is new, and as far as I can tell it's the first time it's been narrated on KZbin. Thanks for tackling all three, Doc! Nostalgia can take a turn into horror pretty easily, and writing this trilogy was a fun ode to the golden age of malls.

I’m really looking forward to this. It has to be amazing if the good doctor is covering it.

this was definitely an amazing story you wrote. it had the perfect amount of tension, horror drama, resolution, and great ending. I won't lie, I would have be one of the chatters saying get out you idiot overall, 4.5 out 5 in my book
@digigekko8991Ай бұрын
@@pax_aurum_nightlord Thanks! I do like a little subversion and calling out of horror tropes, but, you know, if you lean on the "smart thing to do" a little much, you don't have much of a story. And Doc, I just got done listening. Great work as always, really appreciate all you do. And, yes, I think this is the order that it's meant to be listened in.

I for one, have NEVER heard any part of this before, and it couldnt come to me at a better time. Starting with my commute home after a rather shitty Monday at work. Thank you for thia Dr. ❤️ If it is indeed a repeat for some, it is not for ALL 😊

That was one of the best stories I've heard in a long time, and wonderfully narrated to boot. This could be a successful Amazon mini series or RPG easily. We'll done.

This is great! I love your narration and you always bring stories to life. There are several books I have read and now I am rereading them and I hear your voice narrating it for me, I freakin live it. You have several stories that I will register to because you make them great like that navy seals vs. The monsters I never remember the name but it's saved in my favs. I love ❤❤❤ ❤❤❤❤❤❤ your narrations and the authors whose stories you bring to life!!! Thanks Doc

Didn't know there were two other parts, but it's been a while, so I just replayed part 1 to remember how it ended. Work sucks today, so I'm thaawful for having this to drown out the monotony.

I actually watched this a while ago and I didn’t even know this was a trilogy and it is so fascinating that somebody found a camera in this old forgotten mall. ❤ that’s exactly what our models are gonna look like in 10 to 20 years from now.
@digigekko8991Ай бұрын
It wasn't a trilogy at first, but the response to Dead Mall was such that I really wanted to share two more tales from (and expand on) the concept within about a year of each other. I wouldn't have done that without the narrators who latched onto it.

@@digigekko8991 That’s amazing, and I’m glad you made this a trilogy! Like I said, I didn’t even know it was meant to be a trilogy. I actually heard about it a while ago, and it’s fantastic that he discovered it and gave it so much recognition on KZbin, leading you to expand the story into two more parts. It really is fantastic-I love the story a lot!

in hindsight, it was a good idea to put the stories the way you did. I remember when the prequel came out, I found it a bit out of place it was placed first (that's my brain). This was more natural to understand (again, just me).
@digigekko8991Ай бұрын
Right, the stories flow naturally in this order, and I think it fits well in an age of online "Hey, wait a minute, I had a similar experience there before this one and here it is" storytelling.

I like the story alot. The only part that really, I did not like was the end story, when the security guard kept doing stupid stuff. He finds a pool of blood and a missing knife, but he waits till he's all alone to investigate? That was a little hard to believe
