@@Mortabluntoh I've kind of avoided those ones, are they that bad??
@Mortablunt Жыл бұрын
@@aaronsmith5947 There is nothing inherrently wrong with a rules pasta. Yet the primary motivator for horror is uncertainty. Uncertainty about what to do, what we're seeing, if we're going to survive. A rules pasta hands the audience a cheat sheet so they already know what will happen and how the protagonist will escape it. I have seen it done only once really well, and that was where a lot of the events had contraindications and often occurred near simultaneously, so the rules hardly helped and you were left wondering what to do. Most rules pasta basically give you a scares preview and then escort you from scare and resolution to scare and resolution, so you already know everything from the start. It was some forest ranger or fire lookout story, something over 30 minutes long, narrated by either MrCreeps or CreepsMcPasta, if I remember.

I saw this comment yesterday and happen to know a pair named Mike and Jenna, both gorgeous enough to be stars, but they're siblings, not a couple. They're my cousins, I haven't seen them in ages and this apparently triggered a bizarre dream in which I went to their house (mansion) but it was a frigging mess, closets of bs flowing out into hallways, my baby was gone,, my son was crying... oh he saw weird figures on the treeline that scared him (passed out watching the new Mrballen), just weird shit all around. Super creepy. Just woke up from it, actually, wanted to come tell you thanks for indirectly triggering a very odd nightmare.

At least it’s not a rule story and that’s about all the good I can say about it; I couldn’t figure out where the scary part was supposed to be. Ending was lame and seems like the author just ran out of impetus and reaching into the creepypasta standard bag of tricks and came up with that monster out of nowhere. Horror requires a certain kind of threat and one perfume lady who spends 90% of her time not even bothering doesn’t suffice.

Well damn! I’m completely blown away by this one, and grateful for it! Dr Creepen, you brought us Gold today, and thank you tremendously Tyler for writing such an amazing and detailed peek into the mind of a lunatic, a genius, or something far beyond our understanding. Yet that still doesn’t matter, as the story and the reality of how many possibilities there were is truly astounding, and hard to know when, how, and if they were real? Did Mike take the classes, as if he had, he’d have been a video savant, and well know for it. Or Was it all real? Was the monster that pushed perfume like crack in the ‘80s actually exist? Or was it a very good and inspirational creation from the mind of Mike, the boyfriend of the brunette with the Big Blue Eyes? So many coincidences, and so many line up that it makes total sense in many ways, or none in every way! I’m going through a complete mindfuk and and I have our author Tyler to thank for this. So for now, I’m going to double my dosage and rethink it all, and afterwards I may come up with more to add in my comment. But one thing I can easily feel confident in saying is tremendous job gentlemen! It’s why I come here, and why I am never left wanting! Bravo!!!!👏👏👏👏 Top Marks Gentlemen!! 👍👍👍
