I was looking at the window at all those poor people driving past in their cars not knowing that just a few yards away they are missing a absolute masterpiece!!!

I've seen Dead South lives a couple of times in the last 2 years, both shows were incredible. But they didn't play this song, and it is maybe my very favorite song of theirs. Can't say how jealous I am of the folks here who got to hear it live.

Every time I listen to The Dead South, They remind of Great Musical Heritage!!! The 1st time I heard Nate sing IHIBIGCo, I thought I could hear Stevie Ray Vaughan... Recently played song Dear Abby by John Prine ...and thought John would LOVE Dead South!!! YET, everything they do - especially Danny on Cello COMPLETELY NEW and UNIQUELY ORIGINAL!!! They are Great Together-- Each with OWN TALENTS!

I was at the Bluebird in 2020. It’s a tiny coffee shop down Dundas Street from the Royal Scots Club. They must have overpowered the place.

@@RavenholmTourist I envy you. Great party. Nevertheless, we drink pálinka around here, 50% v/v or more, so I am well-versed in these matters :)

They don't sound like bluegrass to me, because they do so much in a plaintive minor key, and it's not as fast of bluegrass. I like this band, and I don't care for bluegrass.
