I don’t know how many people caught that, but he claims the Japanese diesel submarine has the same range as a nuclear submarine. The only thing that limits the range of a nuclear submarine is the amount of food you can carry.

If I was a Russian Submarine I would have 2 major concerns. 1. Major Maintenance and availability of replacement parts. 2. The United States Navy.

In general historically US subs have been quieter than Russian, and better maintained. Maintenance is key and Russia's defense budget is a small fraction of the US's.

You forgot Belgorod Class Nuclear Submarine, a single torpedo can release a tsunami able to destroy the city in one shot, and it carries a scout submarine to able to detect enemy submarines at far distance, equipped with P700 Granit missile and it's stealth is so high that it lost contract in northem russia then re appeared in atlantic sea then it disappeared. And also the typhoon class nuclear submarine, with able to launch 20 missiles at one launch and it's stealth is unbelievable because it also happened like the belgorod class submarine, it disappeared them re appeared in atlantic, it's effectiveness is it's high in firepower and it's top speed is average

This is because KZbin are being control by the west, they just deny the obvious. If you notice, KZbin ALWAYS post the best sub or any military actions are from the west. It's simple, western have their egos while russians grows silently

Belgorod isn't armed with Granit's, those were removed to fit more Poseidon's. And no, it would hardly detect any submarine, it still uses the older MGK-500.

The Ohio Class Ballistic Submarines can carry 24 hypersonic ballistic missiles with up to 8 warheads per missile for 192 targets with an accuracy of a 100m. The Ohio Class Guided Missile Submarines can carry 154 Tomahawk stealth missiles that fly at 100 feet off the ground with a range of 1500 miles and an accuracy of 5m. The US has 14 of the Ballistic missile class and 4 of the Guided Missile class. Numbers matter.

They all make noise ... Russians have a torpedo that literally has infinite range and duration of time . Neptune torpedo i believe, nuclear powered thermonuclear warhead . All in a care package that is self propelled. So many subs are being launched they’ll be running into each other. I wonder what investment is going into sonar equipment and counter offensive nuclear torpedoes similar to the Russians . For the price tag they seem vulnerable to the neptune torpedo.
