UPDATE : I bought the Start x remote start kit on amazon for 170.00 my son came over today and installed it ! Took him 1/2 hour and it works great ,they have a video on youtube how to do it all ,its all plug and play ! Then I was happy to call Mitsubishi connect and cancel the app

That's awesome!!! I have a few more months on the connect. I definitely will look into that!!

Unfortunately, the Mitsubishi Connect app is horrible. It constantly gets an error that it can not connect to the server (not the internet, the server that sends the signal to your car). While you saw it work in the video, 8 times out of 10 it will fail. The crime is that you're paying for it whether you want to or not.

Scott, I definitely feel you on that. It was messing up on me a couple of times. So much so that I called them. The lady informed me that all conditions must be met before it works, such as door closed and things like that. So far, I have had minimal issues....we will see 😆

I had mine for 2 years now and after 2 years you have to pay for the app to be able to use it.

Yes, that sucks. My two year I'd coming up in May.

At first I didn’t like it being in the app but then realized it’s good especially if you lose your keys. In the winter if I’m in the house on my phone I can start my car let it warm up then go jump on it without stopping what I was doing. I guess that saved the manufacturer and the consumer money not adding that to the fob.
@tyallaround Жыл бұрын
Yes, I like it! I don't think you can fully operate without the key fob though.

I've linked my Mitsubishi Connect account to my Google Home. So basically I tell Google to ask Mitsubishi connect to start the engine. I verbally give it my pin code and it starts the car. At least for me it's much easier than just navigating the native app.

That's awesome!!! I will have to try that!!
@tyallaround Жыл бұрын
I was trying to try what you have done. What are the steps?
@chaseezell5929 Жыл бұрын
@@tyallaround the easiest way I remember is to simply ask Google "can you ask Mitsubishi connect to start my engine". Obviously your account is not linked to Google yet, but once you ask the question your sign in page for M.C. will come up. You sign in and Google will tell you that your account is connected.
@chaseezell5929 Жыл бұрын
Another way is to go the + sign at the top of your Google home, but I've found that difficult because for some odd reason not everyone has the specific Mitsubishi connect in their "works with google list". So I've found the other way much easier.

Mines barely works. Keep getting an error that says “request timed out” only has 100 miles on it. It’s brand new.

Really?? You may want to give the help desk a call.

Does it show you if you left your doors unlocked, and amount of gas in the car? Heard it has an anti theft option also in the app
@tyallaround11 ай бұрын
It does have a status screen and now they have updated the app to allow you to schedule turn on times which is nice. I have not tried the alarm. I will try that soon!!

Never again will I buy a Mitsubishi. All BS to get a sale. Not to mention they aren't even comfortable. You want a great car. Get a Hyundai Palisade. Just saying. And they have remote start on key fob as well as app and the don't lie to get a sale.
