Outlander 2022: Emergency Shut Off feature explained and demonstrated

The all new 2022 Outlander has an awesome safety feature, it’s called - EMERGENCY (ENGINE) SHUT OFF.
To shut off the engine in an emergency situation while driving, perform the following:
A) Rapidly push the push button ignition switch 3 consecutive times in less than 1.5 seconds, or
B) Push and hold the push button ignition switch for more than 2 seconds.

How do i put it in neutral if the battery dies ? because the gear shift is electronic , say the battery is dead but i want to put it in neutral and push the car?

My speakers are popping constantly with the car engine off. Today they stopped for a couple of minutes then I heard a LOUD pop! And an emergency siren was going off in the car… what the heck is going on? Mitsubishi is telling me sorry we can’t touch it until Mitsubishi Canada approves the issue… and they don’t want to give me another car to drive around in the meantime.. disgusted with the company

No.. There is no special lever or button to push form inside.. You just press on the lid and it opens up. No cap either.. Just have to stock the nozzle in, that's it. If your lid won't open up, maybe the little nob that springs out is broken and need replacement. Get your warranty/service involved in that case!
