I swear I've had this band's entire discography stuck in my head for the past month. How are they not more famous?
@jameswoollacott28017 жыл бұрын
Probably because they have actual value & point to their music..? (i.e. Not full of pointless nana's and weyoo weyoo's)
@jerodwolf55827 жыл бұрын
James Woollacott it's so frustrating because the story of the dear hunter is legendary! Each act having its own message is something I only dreamed about, and to hear it is nothing short of genius.

In 6 and a half years, this has got to 98K views. We might as well just round it to 100K in 7 years. At this rate, it should reach 20M views approximately 1400 years from the original upload, in 3415.

I’ve waited so long just to hear you breathe That your voice could lead me Back from the grave From the slowing breath Of a sleep like death Now morning comes But I’m brokenhearted till we meet again At the end Of the earth I never had known such a fragile hurt Of a lover's curse And the echoes of you Rhyme like a distant verse on forgotten words Now morning comes But I'm brokenhearted till we meet again At the end of the earth I’ll keep moving on out of harmony Until i see you again at the end of the earth I lost my love down below and I’d swear you'd never know So give me death or set me free Just return my soul to me Now morning comes but I’m brokenhearted Till we meet again at the end of the Earth I’ll keep moving on out of harmony Until I see you again At the end of the earth Till we meet again at the end of the earth

Split with my partner of ten years just after this album came out. I can't tell you how many times I've listened to this song.

Stuart, just split with my mine of six years, so I can relate. I listen to this song every single day; sometimes I cry, sometimes I smile. I smile because of how overwhelmingly beautiful of a love song this is. But something in me still believes that her and I will meet again, be it through a phone call or "at the end of the Earth" Bravo, Casey

Adam Coyne Good luck on your journey of healing my good man. I know now that my own broken relationship will never be repaired. But now, a year later, I'm fine with that knowledge. I hope you find yourselves back in a place of peace soon! Keep with The Dear Hunter. They will never steer you far wrong.

Just lost someone very very dear to me recently too. This is my go-to. Those lyrics are absolutely perfect. Hurt is alright sometimes.

Wow reading this comments felt really nice. I'm no way in the same position as you guys are but this year I split up with my first gf after a year and a half together. It literally broke my heart and this song and the whole band's music always reminded me of her. She's happy with someone else right now so it wasn't all that bad. I hope someday I get over her and meet her again without pain inside me.

@@BTBAM819 itll get better for you man. I never thought I would find love after first real relationship. I thought we'd be together forever but it got really toxic. then seeing her with another guy broke me in half. but I'm here to tell you, time may hurt, but it heals all wounds. I'm now with the love of my life, I'm incredibly happy, and I have faith that you will find someone that will make you happy. I'll be praying, just keep your head up my man.

It's unbelievably profound to me that a group of people I have never met can bring to life emotions that I never realized I was feeling. The Dear Hunter are, on a different area of my emotional spectrum, phenomenologically equivalent to Tool. Thank you for everything that you have made clear to me, Dear Hunter.
