So this is the last longterm timelapse from La Palma volcano. Eleven days in less than a minute.
I had some cheap Cams with me for a review but used them first in the real live setting. This one was shot with a CTronics CT-H885 wildlive cam (amzn.to/3pNNfub - affiliate link). Unfortunately the cam shoots only b/w at night but compared with the really bad Brinno (only 1080p, flicker, ...) and two other Cams the CTronics with it's 20MP files there's some space too zoom in and the quality is not too bad. The dead tree wasn't that stable as I thought so some shaking when heavy wind blows through the valley. One shot every 30 sec and additional speed up in Premiere so it's getting not too longsome.
Of course the 33711 (sic!) pictures were first loaded in LRTimelapse - the best and most complete software solution for Timelapse (lrtimelapse.com/?ap_id=timelapse - affiliate link). It has also an special longterm section which makes it really easy to select only the files you want to use in the final timelapse. You can select by time, hue, contrast and brightness just by a few clicks. Add keyframes, edit only them in Lightroom, go back to LRTimelapse where the settings were transitions of the settings between the keyframes are calculated, add deflicker is needed and then export the video. Really great stuff!
We all hope, that after nearly 3 mounth eruption with earthquakes, heavy ashclouds and destroyed houses and streets this natural spectacle is over very soon. The signs are good at the moment :-)
