Something I loved about having the bane combo in my deck was that it made the hero feel truly like a combination of every hero archetype. A true omni hero deck.

I always want to use him. It’s the dark calling that hurts. It takes up 2 spots(adusted gold) in our already tight engine. But if our board gets broken after going 1st he’s a good option/extender.

As an evil hero main ive gotten to diamond with pure evil hero. In all honesty evil heroes just need new main deck evil heroes. Another searcher and extender. If heroes get an omni negate it should be an evil hero

I found bane really good with DPE since bane can’t be destroyed by cards effects, when you use DPE effect to choose one of your monsters as well as your opponents monsters to destroy them. Bane wouldn’t get destroy since it can’t be destroyed by card effects.

@@plus_vibes9620 hmm, that would be super cool, maybe slightly broken though, then again tho branded players can search all they’re important monsters with fusion deployment so I don’t think it would be too broken for heroes, and unless they made a hero fusion monster for all of them it wouldn’t have the flexibility of a hero lives so would be cool

An Evil HERO combo only consists of 4 cards. Gold, Bane, Dark Calling, and a level 6 or higher monster in hand or gy. We Increase tribute Ferris and Vyon pitch Shadow Mist for a reason! Bane will always be my ace

If evil heros from the extra could be fused with super poly without the restriction of requiring the field spell i think they would be way more popular and useful! The field spell is an absolute brick.

I'm still using Malicious Bane in my HERO deck. To your point he is easy enough to get rid of but you shouldn't be ending a board with him. Malicious Bane really shines going second when you have to overcome multiple interruptions. You might as well force your opponent to use a negate on the dark calling.

I put him in tcg decklist for funsies. He has comeup in fire king format. At least they have a slight inconvenience removing it. Anyways if I side he is out, but he does catch people off guard.

It was never good if your locals was competitive even on release. Everyone always seemed to have imperm or drnm. If not that then their engine negate did the trick.

Evil heroes are my favorite hero cards. Haou is my favorite GX character, along with Yubel. It’s a shame evil heroes aren’t as well supported as other archetypes. Konami has a weird/inconsistent way of supporting legacy cards, some get the support they need (Yubel’s new support coming in February is *chef’s kiss*) and other cards get the shaft.

Short prints are the "Bane" of my life, soo many cards that should not be this expensive , and should have a reprint after all this time, an axample is stratos and super poly, 5 to 6 euros or dollar for copy
