Rosie Duffield has taken a swipe at Wes Streeting and the Labour Party for "blanking" and "sidelining" women who have expressed concerns over the approach to trans people.
The MP for Canterbury posted a scathing thread on X following the publication of the Cass Review, a report into gender identity services.
As The Talk panel discuss the matter, Emma Woolf says many people will agree with Wes Streeting who said we need to be "open" when discussing trans ideology.
She says: "In the beginning we were being super sensitive, but now thousands of children are having puberty blocking treatment, the debate is evolving."

To suggest that their can be a time when a person could 'transition' amounts to saying it is ok to give up and accept that a person may not get over their delusion that they can change sex and allow them to undergo mutilating surgery. The clinics that refused to cooperate with Cass did that for a reason, to cover up their crimes as they probably know very well the amount of harm and distress they have caused as people express regret later in life and attempt to 'detransition' as best they can. Sadly it is simply too late for many of them. The next step should be enquiries into those clinics with criminal charges brought as well as criminal enquiries into the media who were their cheer leaders.

Good luck in ever getting that. So many people in all walks of life are in some way responsible for this, with many of those in power and in the NHS being even more culpable, that you'd have to arrest and jail a huge number of people. As for those at the top: The powerful rarely answer for their misjudgements and crimes. What will happen is that it will get backtracked on, generation alpha will probably reject it and it'll all go quiet and no one will want to talk about it. A bit like covid and the various governments around the world.
