In an ECW Promo back in the day, Cactus Jack said if ECW can't get a particular wrestler they want, they will create a version of him. Well USWA created 4 versions of the top wrestlers for the time, and bundled them up in one mid card wrestler. A desperate and cost saving measure that's good for the entertainment factor and nothing more. Also I love the sell of the leg drop from Tony Williams LOL.

@Crusher Bones FOREVER Hi Bub, Im sorry to hear that. I mean that. Im 47 and I met your dad when I was about 22-23, and I think he was about 4 years younger than me, but he was about 6 inches taller. I eventually did some work with Harley Race and Ring Of Honor, and I was on the ring crew at ECW and held a couple of NWA titles. I remember thinking when I met Crush that if he had guidance he could be the next Terry Gordy or Abyss before Abyss. Dont let anybody tell you otherwise, Ive been around and best in this business, and he had the talent. Ive wrestled Eugene and Rosey and a few other WWE stars. Promoters dont waste their tv time and money with pairing you in those slots unless itll be profitable. My favorite opponent was Ronnie Garvin, and I trained under Harley Race in Missouri when I moved from Columbus and got serious. I ALSO wrestled in HWA in Cincinnati for a few years, with everyone from Nigel McGuinness to Matt Stryker to Cody Hawk to Shaun Ricker (LA Knight). We fell out of touch. There werent really cell phones in those days, and the internet was expensive and only available at the library. I hope you get a little peace from this note. Your dad was a good dude and a good wrestler. Take care, my friend. I'll be subbing to help you and your dad's memory out.
