No one in heaven is ever tempted in any fashion by the enormous wealth all those things represent, but neither do they ever take any of them for granted, and none who seek for the wealth of this world, of the security it brings, will ever enter into those gates.

Thank you for this video, it is a timely message. I'm living at home because of the upcoming divorce, but I travel 2 hours at least to commute to work every day, and the same amount of time to see my son on the weekend. I am considering moving to a new apartment close to work but am worried about money. I tried to count the cost last night and it seems doable but I would not have much money for things after all the bills are paid. But the commute would be a 15 minute drive to work each day and the same amount of time to see my son. I've sought the Lord and prayed about it, and I don't know what to do. Other apartments are more money or at most $100-$200 cheaper but that's about it for my area I am looking to move to. Please pray that I make a wise decision not based on fear of not having enough money or not wanting to stick with the commute 7 days a week. It's exhausting. Please let me know what I can keep praying for you too, sir. Because your videos are full of the wisdom from the Holy Spirit. Thank you.

I will start by telling you what you already know, if you plan on keeping the job you're at, and you calculate the savings in fuel alone, then you know what to do. You also have to consider what those "things after the bills are paid" really are. You know as well as I do that we can spend a lot of time doing things we enjoy that either have a very low initial cost, or no cost at all. If you're planning on staying in the area where you work for a long period of time, then take a look at purchasing a run-down house that needs a lot of work on contract from the seller. Remember Prov. 22:7. I already know you're going to make a wise decision in this matter Kevin, because your heart is set to serve the Almighty.

Thank you, Sir! I am wanting to be a good father and be there for my son. I need time with him because I love him and miss him so much. He is asking about Jesus and we pray before meals and bedtime. I want to keep my relationship with him strong so that I can help him get to know and love Jesus too. I really appreciate your support and response. I know that if God cares for the birds he will care even more for me. I'm really striving to set my heart and face like flint and be a strong soldier for our Lord Jesus Christ.
