The Decemberists need more love. My mom introduced me to the band when I was little, and every time we would go up to my grandparent's house she would play this album. It's been in my life for all this time and only recently I took notice of it after the Leigonnaire's Lament popped up in a playlist I was listening to. Reminds me of good times :)

I've only just grown to truly appreciate this song, having been a massive Decemberists fan over the last 13 years or so since Picaresque was released. I had somewhat neglected their first 2 albums despite enjoying many of the tracks on them, namely July July, Here I dreamt I was an architect, and the legionnaires lament, but I'd not listened to the album as a whole in years.
