They need to start forcing them to shoot in practice and force them to catch and shoot from the corner and top of the key in game. That would literally fix the issue(if they even care) they just have to be able to shoot from beyond the 3 point line and the rest of their game will be fixed as a result. Except idk if that would fix amari having less assists than turnovers that’s kind of insane for a sg/pg

As a ucla fan it’s just a really unfortunate situation. I get why he left because he really was playing great ball at the end of the season last year. Once Clark and Bona went down it figured that we had no shot at making a run in the tourney but Amari stepped up in a big way and became the number 2 scoring option behind Jaime jacquez. He even had the go ahead shot against Gonzaga in the sweet 16 with under 10 seconds that would’ve been the game winner if not for a strawther half court shot. If that shot misses, ucla wins goes to the elite 8 and I think Amari might be a first round pick and thriving rn. It just sucks because last year if he stayed which im hindsight he should’ve he would’ve been the number 1 option last year and a lottery pick instead of a guy who didn’t get his contract picked up for his second season. and ucla would’ve been atleast a tournament team and possibly a sweet 16 or better but they just didn’t have anything close to a number 1 option. I wish Amari well and i believe in him but getting picked by the hornets was the worst thing for his career. The second it happened I knew his career was in serious jeapaordy(which it is).
