Ded Bob announced today that his beloved Dummy Smuj has passed away following a major heart attack and six week battle in ICU, an era has ended, Long Live Ded Bob!

Sad to hear of the passing of Clark "Ded Bob" Orrick. I had the pleasure of seeing his performances at the Colorado renaissance festival a few times. Always a good time full of laughter. Rest in Peace sir.

Thank goodness we still have you tube...where folks like Smudge never really die. He may not do new work or make new appearances...at least not until he figures out the whole rebirth thing...but he will live forever as long we remember him and as long as a platform exists where he can be discovered by new fans.

You know, I was there that time, I drew the picture for Ded Bob for his show from 2017. But, today, I was shocked and saddened his death. I was so admiring his show at first sight to visit Texas Renaissance Festival with my family.
