Deep is a true hero - he was sincere in his apology to Starlight (which he made by himself) and then ended up being tortured by a cult. I wouldn't know what I'd do if I ended up in that situation. I just rewatched the Dawn of the Seven for like the sixth time. Homelander kills it. I read the book and bought the Audible as well. Now Vought give us the pleasure to see the sea of lies. I might get thrown stones at, but I think the Deep deserves a second chance. He is so sincere, honest and truthful about himself. Cassandra gave him what he needed and not what he wanted. This is the perfect match. Deep is an oyster and Cassandra his pearl. Since Deep is out of the water tank of the church of the collective, he is FREE. Thank you Vought for this inspirational story.
