The Endeavor hydrothermal hot vents that were discovered off the west coast of BC was made by us hence the name Endeavour. I would give almost anything to be on a Research Vessel again. The Pentagon routinely loses trillions, and can't complete an audit. Those toys, along with NASA, couldn't be funded without the help of extreme amounts of funding. My government isn't worth investing in at this time, including scientific research because science is being abused; like peace was given a bad name, and even the word bad turned into a good thing long ago. No transparency, no funding. No mining, no way.

The oceans are huge. Deep sea mining won't have more than a local effect on ocean floor that is mostly empty. Unlike the shallow sea. But it should be regulated anyhow. And if they theoretically bring up all that gold then gold price will drop to nothing. Gold is expensive because it is limited in availability, just like any natural resource.

Jin Maid Service oh so digging in the ocean floor is going to collapse the water above it? Do you even know what you're talking about lmao. It would take years, decades to dig enough so as to compromise the integrity of the land
@ThorGodofThunder4206 жыл бұрын
It would take FAR longer than decades. They could mine the ocean for the next 1000 years and there would probably be no effect on the above ground.

and it's not just about cash, it's about resources that YOU USE to live. The roads you drive on, the fuel you put into your car, the plastic and glass that make your computers, TV screens and cell phones. ALL made from resources from the Earth. Stop using those things, and then you have a right to protest mining of natural resources.

Actually, the sub was deliberately sunk because of a treaty that said excess navy ships had to be destroyed in 1938 (Treaty of London). So the US Navy knew where it was sunk near Hawaii.

Yeah and that’s made in a Hollywood basement… Do you really still believe that we’ve traveled space? Do you really still believe in the globe model? Do you think water curves around a spinning ball that is spinning 1000 mph at the equator, rotating 66,000 mph around the sun, the solar system is rotating around a black hole at 500,000 mph and all that is expanding at some other ridiculous speed?? The only way humanity could have been tricked into believing the globe model was to start indoctrinating children at a very young age…. I’m sure you’ve never even questioned it before but really think about what the globe model tries to sell to you. It’s the most ridiculous theory and most of humanity just excepts it without ever even questioning… It’s amazing
