The one perk you missed is that you can create "Active Watch Next" playlists, in a Queue setup, so you can let YT play without your interference while doing chores or whatever & it'll play only the videos you added in the order you arranged them in the "Queue"........it has been the best thing for me next to no ads.

I was in that same mindset until I started watching KZbin instead of tv, so I’m using it for hours a day and I can shower or cook without having to watch adds, plus another good feature is being able to queue videos and make a playlist. But it’s 23 dollars in Australia and I didn’t want to spend that much anymore went back to normal, but I couldn’t stand the adds s I went to sign back up and they now have premium lite which is half the price for 1 add very rarely. I’ve only had 2 since I downgraded.
