Seeing the actors without their costumes and makeup makes the transformation the more impressive. The acting is good, but makeup and costumes are on a different level. In my opinion you costumes are frequently better than a lot of the Hollywood work, so a lot of respect goes out to the talent responsible for it.

I wish that were true, I'm sure we all FEEL that it's true, but the truth is that standards for fan costumes are much, MUCH lower than those for film production costumes (in a film production, Eva probably would have had that new breastplate she added in Season 4 from the get-go) - and even a high-end indie production like Deerstalker is simply on a lower tier for fit-and-finish than a high-end film costume from a major studio workshop (foam cosplay swords would NEVER fly in a Hollywood movie production - Evandra would have a number of aluminum-blank swords for long shots and stunts and a steel "hero" sword for closeups). I will bet you a LOT of duct tape and hot glue goes into those outfits we see on 1 For All.

This is a terrible embarrassment. First of all, it's an ad, nothing more, nothing less but at least the hashtag identifies that. Second, the actors portray cheesy caricatures of themselves as in this-is-the-real-zany-me!-Aren't-I-so-crazy? style which are no more real than the characters we are used to seeing them playing. Third, if they really pulled this nonsense in Belfast, I can understand why locals don't like tourists. I love the usual programming on this channel but this was really bad.
