I remember in 2017 pulling into vegas for tri-state finals, and Brent was in front of me in his tahoe, very recognizable vehicle. Pulled into the show right behind him. I don't know if Rockford has magic SPL dust they give him, but something rubbed off on my vehicle and I won 2 championships in trunk class that weekend.

Very very nice sound system from front to back!!! Which ROCKFORD FOSGATE amp series are your favorite tell this day and why!!! I myself have been using ROCKFORD FOSGATE car audio since 1995!!! My very first ROCKFORD FOSGATE amp was a little PUNCH 40i pushing two 12 " subs in a band pass box it pushed them pretty damn good for the size of that amp!!! I personally love the T4000-1bd series amps I think they are much better than some of the stuff they have out now days!!! They just seem to be more tuff and more hard core than the newer stuff!!! 💪💪💪

Thanks Jose for sharing your fanatic feedback. I've worked here at Rockford Fosgate for over 32 years and started on the final assembly, so it's possible I did an inspection and secured the sheet metal on your Punch 40i amplifier! One thing you touched on is PERFORMANCE from both that 40i and the much larger Power T40001bd. This is the one thing we have never changed when designing and engineering amplifiers ... the design philosophy. Rockford Fosgate amplifiers still produce much more Continuous and Dynamic Power than their ratings suggest. In fact, the newest M5-800X4 amplifier produces 100% more dynamic power than its continuous power ratings. Proof that we haven't rested on our legacy, but rather continue to build high-performance amplifiers for demanding audio fanatics like you!

@@rockfordfosgate Thank you for replying back!!! I have a question about Dynamic POWER versus rated Power, how can a person run their sound system at DYNAMIC POWER on a constant basis instead of running it at the rated Power??? Keeping in mind that Dynamic POWER is always going to be measured at 14.4 volts if I'm not mistaking correct??? In other words what are the factors that have to take place to make that happen if at all possible!!! I ask because I'm in the process of doing a 6000 to 7000 watt ROCKFORD FOSGATE Sound System roughly speaking!!! In which consist of two ROCKFORD FOSGATE T2500-1bdcp amps powering six JL AUDIO 12W7AE-3 subs in a ported wall, and four T600-4's for my mids and highs component's for a total of sixteen of them from front to back!!! I want to make sure that I do everything right possibly to run my sound system at DYNAMIC POWER if it at all possible!!! Thank You!!! Your help and advice would be greatly appreciated!!! 👍👍👍

@@josea.garcia3994 Great question! The simple answer is ... if you're listening to music with your audio system, you're actually producing DYNAMIC Power. If your competing in an SPL contest and using sine-waves, it's more like CONTINUOUS Power. Continuous Power has been the standard way of measuring amplifier power because it's easy to do, and it allows customers to compare brand X against brand Y using this baseline procedure. However, Continuous Power is measured using sine-waves on a fixed resistive load. Dynamic Power is harder to measure because it replicates music by pulsing the signal. We test using the "Power Cube" that not only mimics a musical input, but presents the amplifier with a dynamic load that mimics speakers. This type of load is resistive, inductive, and capacitive, much like you'll see from an actual speaker or subwoofer.

@@josea.garcia3994 The simple answer is if you're playing music through your system, the amplifier is inherently operating at "Dynamic Power" levels. Continuous Power is measured using sing-waves and a load resistor. Dynamic Power is measured using a signal that represents music and a dynamic speaker load. We've always used Continuous Power as a baseline for comparison against other amplifiers. Dynamic Power is harder to test and requires the amplifier to have great headroom, so many companies don't provide this type of data.

@@rockfordfosgate Ok so how and when can you tell if your sound system is playing at full DYNAMIC POWER versus CONTINUES rated Power??? In most if not all amplifier spec's it indicates a high wattage RMS at DYNAMIC POWER at 14.4 volts versus CONTINUES POWER rating at 13.8!!! So my question would be is how can you assure that your sound system is playing at DYNAMIC POWER at all times if at all possible at 14.4 volts What must you do??? 🤔🤔🤔
