Honestly not super crazy. It's 2% for a Legendary per individual roll, when most gachas are like .6 or .8%, so that may take a few rolls but it's CERTAINLY possible.

Im a bit confused about the initial pulls and banner system. Why would I pull from anything but the beginner banner given the 30 pity vs 100 pity of the other banners? Is it just to get a specific character? If I dont care who i get, i should just go beginner banner?

For people who are Rerolling it makes sense to pull on another banner because 30 Pity is very easy to hit (I hit it somewhere around 1-2 of Fools Journey gathering every secondary thing I could, though mileage may vary based on the results of your pulls and such for little gains of 20 Luxite here and there), so you wanna roll on a different banner til you get a big hit then keep playing on that account and get your Beginner Banner Legendary whenever. If you aren't Rerolling though, then yeah, it's probably the best place to start unless you KNOW you want Gloria since she isn't in it.

I am personally just rerolling on the new player banner. I will get gloria over time guaranteed with her banner. I would rather guarantee 2 units I want instead of 1 I want quickly and then random legendarys.

Absolutely viable! That would essentially give you a two week run to get 180 pulls, with multiple events going early to add to that (And if you get the Beginner banner legendary on the first 10 or 20 pulls, then anything you don't spend towards it banks toward that), so it would take some effort and time, but it would certainly be doable!

Makes total sense, and in that case, one thing I did miss (Genuinely forgot to mention) is that there will also apparently be a Legendary Selector at launch, it's supposed to cost roughly $30 and it will have basically every legendary in it EXCEPT Gloria it seems, but grain of salt since we haven't seen the full release and so the amount may be off, but that may make things even easier for you!

I have played tons of gacha. One thing I learned is that if you know you will play at least 6 months retooling is just not worth it. Unless you are die hard on a character, why not just wait and pull on someone later when you have tons of pulls lol

Nice video, got 2 questions about the game: 1. Are there any ranking rewards? How important are they? 2. Does rotation of the characters matters for the gameplay? Is it like FFT or FE?

1) I'm sure there will be stuff for PvP content or worked in to some of the events and trials, but I haven't seen it much to start off so I can't properly answer that part. 2) The largest squad you'll bring to a map is 6 units, but there's different challenges and things that will require different team compositions and you'll have the ability to raise up about 10 or so units without grinding heavily so I HIGHLY recommend you rotate and work on 8-10 so that you're ready for different challenges rather than trying to brute force it with exactly 6.

tips for new players going into gotcha games, DO NOT BE AFRAID TO REROLL! reroll 10-50 times and get ur 1st limited unit on the 1st 10 or 20th pull and u will be ahead of other players 4-6month base on pulling resource, as to pity 1 limited unit it normally takes 4-6month resource grinding. happy gothca~

I'm unsure if there are any proper Taiwanese/Chinese wikis or databases, so the only proper site I know of right now is the one Loot And Waifus has made: lootandwaifus.com/sword-of-convallaria/ It's got a bunch of data compiled but it's all out together by Sefhi himself so it might not be as comprehensive as like a community wiki like a Game 8, but still it's an absolutely phenomenal amount of work and info put in and should have everything you need! (Also be sure to follow them at m.youtube.com/@lootandwaifus because they also have a ton of Convallaria content now and coming down the pipe!)

Fair, but Col has Nova damage no matter what which is still useful, and she'll for sure synergize with Inanna in that she gets to Act again whenever she kills an enemy she attacks from the side of behind, so you can use that, then get her to act AGAIN with Inanna and possibly even proc Cols Act Again another time depending on the state of the enemies. It won't ALWAYS work, but there will definitely be scenarios where you can just bulldoze an enemy lineup.

i think you misinterpreted the pre reg rewards. you always get the full pre reg rewards as long as you have created an account whether you reroll or not.

Yes, but that specifically applies for everything EXCEPT the 1 summon/2k Common Exp/5k Coins. That specifically is for individually pre-registering your email on the website. The community pre-registration awards as well as the Luxite they announced at the recent Livestream go to every account, but you wanna pre-reg the emails you wanna use for that little extra bit. THAT was my point.

Nice video but I disagree a bit with your interpretation of the roles : Seekers are the actual damage specialists, they are the ninjas and Assassins that will deal a lot of damage, have great mobility, but frail defense. Breakers are more like bruisers, yeah they do damage and are great wallbreakers against tanks, they can also take several hits. They are well balanced overall. Defenders are units that are here to stay alive and protect their team.

Fair point! I was moreso trying to highlight that Seekers are JUST damage as some of them have specialist kits, but they SO also include assassin types like Crimson Falcon and Col so that's a fair take regardless!

Absolutely. Over the next few weeks I'll be rolling out focus videos on each of the 5 roles as sort of guides to them: Ultimate Brawlers Guide, Definitive Seekers Guide, etc... and part of it will be on what the roles do and excel at as well as their weaknesses and such, but the other part will be focusing on units across the spectrum of rarities that stand out, abilities or things about them that make them stand out, etc... So that people can see who effective units are at EVERY level. I know someone planning to do a run with only Bronze units so at that point I feel obligated to make sure people know all of their options down the line, y'know?

So it's JUST the beginner banner for the 30 Pity, but still that's an AWESOME way to start things off, and even though the normal banners have 100/180 Pity, the fact that those carryover across banner types (So if you do 80 pulls in this Destined banner, you're only 20 pulls away from the 100 Pity when the next Destined banner rolls around) AND that Legendaries have a 2% rate instead of like a .6 or .8 like a number of games have is REALLY nice.

i so hate the 50% 75% "extra" rates.... why the f dont they just give us an 100 summons pity, and let the RNG Jesus decide when you get it, at 10 summons or at 100, why the f do i also need to worry if i get at 100 summons will it be the unit that i actually want of not ? I remember a youtuber Drathmicrotransactions that summoned in another game, think it was watcher of realms, on a banner and he got like 5-6 legendary units, but none of them were the banner units, its dumb as f ! yes i understand that the second lego or at 180 summons you get the guaranteed unit but, come on, after the honey moon phase, those 180 summons will be really hard to get !

Epic7 did it the best, banners every 3 weeks or so and you had time to gather resorces to pull for the banner unit, that was guaranteed

I get you. I generally play these games fully Free To Play, though for the past few years I've used Google Opinion Rewards on my phone to get free Google Play credit so sometimes I'll be like "Eh, I have $5 in credit anyways, I'll buy this $4.99 pack with cool stuff", but yeah I'm in this for the F2P perspective and all the content you can get WITHOUT spending, so I take just how much they give as the trade off for not getting all the super easy character guarantees, but I fully get how you could want the focus to be more character access instead.
