Had burnt ends in KC for the first time ever last month from one of the famous spots. Holy shit they were incredible, as tender as a rare filet mignon, and more flavorful than a prime ribeye.
@JWFas3 жыл бұрын
They're not difficult to make either. To maximize yield I'll separate the brisket point from the flat. Then smoke it until it's probe tender (about 203F internal). Then slice the point into bite sized cubes. You wind up with these pieces of beef that are charred on the outside but melt in your mouth.

Next time you're in KC, you need to go to Woodyard BBQ. The Triple P is amazing (the "P" is for pork: pull pork, ham, bacon), and you *have* to have some of their Burnt End Chili. Fun Fact: It's call Woodyard because WAY back in the day they started out just selling wood to all the other bbq joints in town. Even though they sell their bbq now, you can still buy wood from them to use in your pit or smoker.

I fucking love Joe's KC BBQ!! Im hooked !! I am a full blown Joe's BBQ junkie!! Haha, shit I order from Joe's about every 3 months or so and drop anywhere from 120-200 bills each time! (Free shipping on orders over 60 bills, so no brainer ) It always arrives at the door very frozen and shipping all the way from KC to CT has never been an issue! It reheats phenomenally and tastes Smokey and fresh every time. The whole house smells like a true smokehouse restaurant very quickly as well, which is right up my alley. The BBQ sauce is some of the best I've had and I'm a huge fan of their french fry seasoning as well. To anyone who hasn't tried Joe's.....well I don't know what the fuck you're doing with your lives and you need to get on that, ASAP !! Even their smoked sausage is incredible and they offer it 2 ways. They have the original smoked sausage as well as a smoked jalapeno cheddar sausage version....do I have to say anymore ?? ....haha yeah, I didn't think so 👌👍👍🤙 👉👌 yessssssir !!
