Finally got a 65" C1. Incredible upgrade from what I had. Got it on clearance. You need to adjust picture settings out of the box. Thanks QTV for steering me in this direction, saved a ton of $$$ going with the C1 over others. Couldn't be happier.

If you happened to be lucky enough to get one of the good C1s then it’s a very hard tv to beat in all areas. My second C1 is basically junk compared to the first one but first one was phenomenal.

hi Q... i was watching you since Q8FN best tv in that time .. I want upgrade and buying first OLED for me and still thinking what... i need some advice :D i was going for G2 65inch +5year war but i dont like that is only wallmount included... and then i saw this and 77C1 is about 500e more then 65 G2. i dont have huge room so idk if 77 is still better or no or go G2 with waranty. my room is also bit bright during day but not crazy. Yes, and you can also use voice control if you take risks with software updates. Im not saying shortcuts don't exist. I'm saying apples to apples, it is more work to navigate the user interface. Sorry I didn't elaborate on that clearly enough.

Both are real nice tvs but I use picture off a lot so I will stick with my Sony A80J. Real easy to navigate to picture off, and it's even faster the 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc because hitting settings on remote brings up the last setting you navigated to which is almost always picture off for me.

To be fair, im only refering to the ui navigation. Shortcuts can considerably cut down on this. Even still, sony is a bit better with ease of use.

I tried using voice command but it suspiciously doesn't work when I say "Screen Off" because of OLEDS are prone to burn in so wouldn't one of the best defenses be to make screen off into a button on the remote? Like seriously the only possible reason that makes sense to me is that they don't want the TVs to last TOO long just long enough not to make the consumer hate them for a crap product. Not that the C1 is crap it's the nicest TV hell it's the nicest item I've ever owned but yeah that screen off needs to be made into a button on the remote. And change the LED color to differentiate between TV off or just the screen off. Dude I got the 77" C1 for $2,699.00 last April and now the 77" C2 is only $2,400.00 😭😭😭😭😭

A wonderful question. The LG G2 overall. The LG C1 has a slower pixel response time, and that helps the motion on the G2 pull ahead

How would the LG CS match up against the G2. As for the pixels dimming when you don't want them to, you can alter the two settings in the tv's main hidden menu and switch them both off.

I would avoid any open box oled. You want an oled as fresh as you can get it. Think produce. An extreme example i know, but you get the idea.

Technically the c1 has smoother motion, but the pixels refresh at a slower rate. So the G2 always has a very hyper realistic yet cinematic look.

Hey man go for the LG C1 if at all possible. The remaining options have motivation issues. The C2 is great for clarity, but lacks the user control of the c1. Buy a c1 for gaming. Its the best option presented. If you can an s95b would be better.

@@Quantum_TV I thank you very much for your advise and thanks for answer, the thing is i also love very much the picture quality, i love that very smooth and enjoyable motion in video games and as well in movies, and i also my eyes are very sensitive at the picture quality, i play video games 50% - 60% and i watch movies 50% - 40% if is not really much difference in picture quality and very much difference in video games between c1 and sony or samsung, i would chose c1 instantly. I also hope to help others with the same wonders like me with these coments. Thank you.

Q, the scene you paused on with the lady in red under the umbrella, the wine splash on the left hand side of the screen looks so much brighter and better separated in your video on the C1 screen than it does on the G2 screen and to such an extent that if that was the ONLY image comparison someone was looking at, you'd think the G2 was on the right or that the C1 was a vastly superior panel based on what I'm seeing. as you are describing that scene though, you are really hyping the detail on the G2 screen, so is this particular scene just another case of it being hard to convey thru a youtube video feed and whatever device/screen we are watching on, the in-person reality of the differences? Because man, it either looks like the G2 has zero calibration compared to the C1, or it's just a worse panel or something in that once paused example.
