Mine failed after 2 years, like a month after my Best Buy warranty expired on it 😂 was a decent tv, still had some funny build quality issues for some with the tv literally peeling at the edges. Was glued together I suppose…

@@carlcameron3524 thats amazing. In my situation i got bitter with Samsung since my ks8000 failed in 2yrs back then. I only finally came back to Samsung with the S95B Qdoled. Two years in no issues, great TV. Id say 2 tvs that Quantum def influenced me to get that turned out great were Samsung S95B and Hisense U8G.

Yes. I liked the logo that lights up . I didn’t really know about the HDR SDR picture options I just plugged it in and hoped it worked . I think I’m going to to get the TCL QM851 85 in February. Right now I’m watching tv with a Samsung U800D from December 2017 . It’s still running beautifully

I wish my ks8000 was still alive. Mine died a little after the five year mark. A great tv. I now have Hisense I am happy with. But it doesn’t beat the Samsung.

@ Hisense and TCL in 2 years will be number 1 & number 2 . Hisense has made big improvements in the top 2 models . TVs are going to bigger and more affordable because of tcl and Hisense . Hisense and tcl will b improving

I still have my sony kdl42w805 with the blue Bravia light. My first led tv bought in 2013 and was an awesome tv until app support was lost, like KZbin and Netflix. I never used the 3D feature though. It’s been replaced by a 65” A95L.

refresh rate was never that important for me because i always have the graphics set to as far as they can go while still maintaining 60fps, so having more than 60hz is pretty much useless for me.
