@@T_M___your way more optimistic than me lol. Ive completely given up on rockstar adding anything new to rdr2. Sad bc its clearly the best base product they’ve ever released but sadly the higher ups probably didn’t project a big enough profit margin to justify the cost of producing new content for a game as massive and detailed as rdr2. They will milk gta 6 online for the next 10-15yrs. I think gta 6 will be so detailed that the dlcs will be similar in cost to and time to massive blockbuster movie productions. Thats gonna require a ton of man power. So unless they undergo a massive expansion or are willing to bring in a massive amount of independent devs on contract. i think they will have atleast a 10-15yr gap between gta 6 and any other title they are producing. I honestly think the RDR title is gonna end with rdr2. Makes no sense for them to spend a billion dollars developing another game when they’re gonna make that bi weekly with gta 6 online.

The sad truth is, with the amount of cut content such as the cut trinkets and visiting Guarma in the epilogue we could’ve easily gotten those as part of updates as shown with the Turtle Shell trinket which was originally cut but was added back into the game. However R*’s short sided greed made them abandon RDR and Online for GTA online.

You'd think they would want the game to have more longevity and replayablility, since people are going to be stuck with it for decades until they decide to make a new one. If they decide to make a new one at all.

I hardly comment at all, but there's one notable thing I noticed was one mission with Rains Fall just after Arthur's TB diagnosis. Rains Fall and Arthur rode around searching for herbs to help Arthur's disease. Interacting with Rains Fall there was an option to speak about Arthur's son. It was there where I first learned that Arthur had a son and they discussed the situation around losing your son, if I recall correctly.

You know I can't think of any movies or games that even cover World War 1, usually it's all about the sequel lol. A game where we play Jack Marsden, and the first chapter is about World War 1, and then eventually the next chapter is during the age of Prohibition and we start to see the beginnings of real organized crime, and Jack decides to capitalize on that. And Jack witnesses the beginning of the industrial revolution and its consequences, and we see the world change rapidly with new technology and vehicles. That wouldn't just be a major departure from Red Dead, but from video games as a whole. And I think it's something that could be really interesting if done right. I know I'd be really interested in seeing something like that. I mean just imagine how much the world would change in Jack's time, it's not easy to imagine but it would be cool to "live" that in a video game.

We need Mexico for storymode which would make sense for John obviously because of the events of RDR 1. And Guarma would make much more sense for Online. We could somehow work for Fussar or whoever and make regular trips to and from Guarma. R* could easily add this. I get it that GTA 6 is the priority but they have thousands of employees so there really is no excuse why these things can not happen...🤨

Those employees were also crunched to hell and back just to get RDR2 out, and apparently that's a major concern with GTA 6 right now as well.

@OutlawedPoet I don't doubt that but with thousands of employees there is still no excuse. It's a video game, not a mission to Mars. Shouldn't be that complicated. Its nothing more than coding. Lots of coding sure. But still just coding.

Hey man! Great video! RDR2 still the greatest most detailed game after more than 5 years. R has set a standard the rest is struggling to follow Nice to see you with some longer and more detailed content, you should do this again every once. Lots of interesting stuff here I didn't even know about the horse breeding and companion stuff...or I maybe forgot. That would have been cool. Guess with all the details in this game, all the work and possibilities with having companions on stranger missions etc. would be too time consuming to make, if they wanted to do it justice. Woulda been neat with a blackwater prologue, don't think it would work story wise though. I think it would take a lot away from the spaghetti western intro in the snow. Could have worked as a stand alone story, kinda like "left behind" in TLOUpart1 maybe. But hell to take all my money...give me RDR1 in the RDR2 engine! Both games put together in one epic long story! Then Nuevo Paraiso would be a sure thing in online as well. I would give the R gods my life and soul!! Love & bless man! Great vid! Outlaw for life!🤠

Hey I didn’t flag anything. it’s an iceberg video that has a combo of actual, theories and alleged info, and i did an amazing amount of research. @GoldenRDR28 ай бұрын
@@McdizzleGaming It's fine, I think to an extent I overreacted because of a few things but most glaringly I saw horse breeding was included, a point which I know for a fact has zero evidence to back it up besides a model skeleton and was either taken directly from or came from a subsidy of the absurd evil hair leak (and I know this because you mentioned the albino arabian) which has been absolutely 100% proven to be false yet gets spread around the internet avidly.
@McdizzleGaming8 ай бұрын
@@GoldenRDR2 The thing is though, there is no real way to 100% prove something false with video game dev, unless the dev said something themself. I think the Evil hair leak is wild, and I saw a note that it was proven false, but no evidence that I could see of it being false and he knew ALOT from it just coming out on console that was def true in the files , I believe that leak was before the PC release. Doesn't mean hes right but its enough to talk about. It's tough to call things blatantly false when we just don't know, the files has evidence of missing content, sure, but the absence of things within them doesn't mean anything. It's fun stuff to talk about either way

@@McdizzleGaming You are entitled to your opinion but if you can't look at it and see that it's clearly false and that 90% of the points have absolutely nothing to back them up in the files that speaks to the integrity of the video tbh, hopefully you can see that my call for criticism is at least somewhat warranted simply due to its inclusion, even if you don't necessarily agree with my stance on it.
