This isn't for 2023 but one of my depressing UFC moments is Daniel Cormier losing to Jones in the rematch and then Jones popping for roids on top of it to add insult to injury. That's like the bad guy cheating to win at the end of the movie and killing the good guy, with no consequences, no payoff for the story that was built up, no feel-good moment. Just a reminder that life isn't fair and the good guys often lose, cheating pays off, it's a clown world out there.

ngl ik usman is cringe and whatnot, but the downfall of kamaru usman was pretty sad to me now that i look back at it. you won’t see leon koing people, talking trash and fighting 3 times a year and to see him get robbed against chimaev which arguably should’ve been a draw is just depressing, it’s just crazy to think that the person who was on his way to passing gsp is now on a 3 fight losing streak. wish we could go back to that 2021 esc usman era.

El Cucuy is a brilliant weirdo, a career plagued with injury, mismanagement and brutal loneliness. Dude never even had a proper fucking coach for gods sake, he was just a fucking animal in his prime. Tony is a legend, I know the term gets thrown around a lot but he truly is HOF material. Never said no to fight, legendary moments (Kevin Lee saga was amazing), TUF Winner, literally scheduled to fight the LW "Goat" 5 times. Hell even Nate Diaz touched gloves with him. It is truly sad to watch him fight these days, but the real ones saw the writing on the wall towards the end of his winning streak. The game evolved, and Tony was left behind. He was a real fighter though, that's why he won't retire. He isn't there to win, he's there to fight. Please Tony, don't fight Jake Paul (i swear to fucking god if tony signs with the PFL)
