The Delicate Work of Hand Embroidery - A Sewing Process

To whom it may concern,
Did you know that hand embroidery is the art of decorative stitching on fabric with a needle and thread? It adds a charming or elegant element to garments and accessories.
I'm in the beginning of my hand embroidery journey and I've already given myself the challenge to embroider a large design. I only started learning this skill in 2023, so you can see the amateur methods I used. I don't even own a proper embroidery frame - that will come in the near future. So, please do NOT take this as an example for exceptional hand embroidery. I only mean to share my own journey with this craft.
And since this is my first large embroidery project, in order to successfully finish it, I made sure to use beginner friendly stitches when generating the dragon design.
I was also fortunate enough that the dragons were siblings, not twins, so an asymmetrical design made this challenge less daunting and significantly more achievable.
If you're also thinking of starting a large project, think of ways to make it work for your current skills. That's how I've manage to set expectations and avoid utter disappointment 😆

I could watch 18hrs of this The tiny details are incredible: the way you did the satin stitching to not upset the delicate fabric, the added stitches to the cuffs of the sleeves, using such thin thread theoughout the whole piece, it just make the whole thing so beautiful 😍
