Really lovely drawing! I really like how you colored the blue hair. The colors also make me think of Emily from Stardew Valley.

Hey Zyra, I don’t know if you remember me, but I commented on your first post of you unboxing the markers, and then the post of your first art with them, and now this! You are an inspiration and it makes me so sad that most of your subscribers don’t even take the time to tell you how good your art is. I am a proud subscriber of Zyrabanez and I plan to stay that way. I will always be here to tell you how much your art and style inspires me and pushes me to improve myself. I truly hope that I can become as good of an artist as you, and never give up on yourself because everything you do is amazing! As always, the art you made in this video is beautiful and I absolutely love your style, and your watercolor art is amazing! I love the way the colors of the markers and your style, and the amazing way your draw skin, makes it look so beautiful and vibrant. I can’t wait to see more of your art ❤❤❤ Sincerely, Your proud subscriber, DookieDoodles ❤

I am so happy to see your progress! I have been making strides as well. I can’t wait to finish a sketchbook and feel that achievement. 🎉You inspire me and I personally love your vintage compositions ! Question though: what red pencil were you using to sketch? Colerase or Uni lead? I have a hard time with red because it’s kinda staining. I had no idea you were from AUSTRALIA. I had no idea- that’s like a vibe in itself❤.
@zyrabanezАй бұрын
Thank you so much!! And yess you can do it! 🙌 I use the Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor Pencil. It’s a color pencil so it doesn’t erase but I love the Venetian Red they have plus lots of other warm earthy colors! ❤️ And also I’m probably the least Australian person here haha 😆

Nah cus this is really helpful but I just know I'm gonna fck up the lines. I can't sketch for the life of me. 🤦🏻♀️ (just attempted it and why is there a fat space in between the fingers literally looks like this emoji 🖖and the thumb looks terrible SMH)
@andreawatson8426Ай бұрын
I've used the Loomis method, but found it formulaic and not helpful with the myriad observable variations in facial proportion and structure. Placing the triangles at different distances below the initial circle helps so much to achieve faces that have life and variety.

Just a thought about faces: a comics youtuber who was once an assistant to legndary cartoonist/advertising artist Neal Adams once said the Master stressed don't waste too much tine on faces. When I thought about it it's always good to to work large to small. And facial features are small. I fix portraits of course. A few simple lines well=placed - such as the side of the nose which isn't lit or a cheek bone,shows more than detailed renderings of the eyes and lips. Honestly two of the guys I do portrait sketches of right now are ex-cons - convicted felons who served hard time. They have a way of keeping their eyes half-closed when they aren't at ease which means even in portrait studies I just do slits sometimes. Paradolia means you can exploit very loose renderings to get the feel of a face, and that is a good idea. Even in fashion illustration.
