This year I put in a 4-graft Pluot, an Aprium and a Pluerry, so I was glad to see this video. I'm really looking forward to the fruits, cherries are my favorite fruit, with plums a close second.

It's tough to nail down favorites from so many great choices--but I've gradually come to conclude ripe off the tree cherries are my very fave which is one of reasons I'm interested in pluerry.

Yes :) Grow what you love to eat. The Pluerry is Amazing! A pollinizer is required such as a pluot or plum for a proper fruit set. Cheers!

@@plantabundance Ahhh...thanks for that detail, fortunately I have both of those established already within 1/4 acre and expect to add a couple more bareroots in a few months. I get good ideas from your vids which are particularly relevant since I'm in similar climate, Chico. :D

We planted our pluerry three years ago, and this was the first year we enjoyed a real crop. After sharing them with the birds, and probably squirrels, over the last couple of weeks, we decided to harvest and process. We picked 71 pounds yesterday. After listening to your presentation, I'm wondering what we should expect next year? Will our good harvest be followed by a small one? I know our pomegranates, and even guavas, are on some sort of every other year schedule. Should we expect the same with our pluerry?

I got one here in zone 6b Pennsylvania. Its on its second year no fruit yet. It is vigorous reaching 10feet tall. It was like a foot tall when I got it from One Green World. I give it Dr. Earth fruit tree fertilizer...seems to like that.
