Netizen didn't react to it because they didn't believe it. During 2000-2010 decade, people were careful about trusting any kind of accusations without evidences. It was even more true with celebrities. We saw the craziest fans doing the craziest things to celebrities back then. We knew a lot of erotomaniac tried to create false rumors. And honestly, social network didn't exist to share those stories, so people didn't knew about it or just assumed they were liars or crazy (you have no idea how much 14 years old pretended on their blogs Brad Pitt was their secret boyfriend). So to talk about this case, I'm not even sure the korean netizen reported it because it doesn't seem solid. Back then we didn't have camera in our phones, so we had less photos to share, but that person said they lived in their neighborhood and didn't share any evidence of that, which could have been at least easy to find and just required to go to the city hall. It wouldn't prove anything, but so far, we can't even be sure they were really neighbors. Also, the articles didn't share some previous declaration she made where she mentioned a place called Hogwarts in it. It really looked like a fanfic. She justified it later (the video just skipped that part) saying it was a nickname for the school, but all of this made people skeptical about this. So far, it's just a declaration without any elements that can allow us to confirm it's true. At the opposite, the picture of him being in a place for adults is a solid evidence. Which is why netizens reacted more to it. The rape accusation could be true, of course, but it looked very weak in comparison.

People simply didn't believe it because the accusations were weak. It didn't even provide an evidence both lived in the same neighborhood as pretended, which was easy to prove by simply going to the city hall. The articles use in the video also didn't translate the previous declaration made, where she talked about Hogwart as a real place and made everything even less credible (she then said it was a nickname for the school. That part was skipped in the video.) Considering the tone of her justification, K-netizen mostly didn't believe it. In 2000-2010 decade, checked the evidences before siding. You have no idea how many secret girlfriends Brad Pitt was supposed to have if you believed what's written on the internet. At the opposite, the underage drinking was solid since there were pictures about it. That's why people reacted to it.

I was a HUGE fan since the beginning of Co-ed and love the group so much! After, I was a big fan of 5-Dolls but the rumors of bullying killed my love for them and eventually they disbanded. I didnt even know that they had added more members after Eunkyo and Hyoyoung left

it was crazy how they got drowned the moment they try to reach the surface. its not one or two scandal but many just punch them the moment they debute. i have a lot of questions back then, but since the internet is not as good as now and i was literally still a kid so its just passed on pretty quickly. i love their two song though, their live also good.

First of all thabk you so much for this! I had heard of them when they debuted but never followed. I love finding things out about 2nd gen that i never knew. Second, this is just a suggestion but i think the videos would be even better with a real person speaking instead of some automated voice. They never pronounce korean words even remotely close to correctly and it's really offputting. Love the information you provide and how concise you are and i appreciate all the work you put in. I just get slightly irritated every time it pronounces things like how the word looks like in korean. Thank you ❤
