Best action film ever, I used to stay up as 2nd grader to see this film late at night on a school night to see the whole film and my mother would approve hehehehehehe. Also, it's worth noting that Lee Marvin played his role a full bird colonel very well.

Most realistic representation of Delta Force ever!!!! They got even the smallest details in weapons, tactics and uniforms exactly right. Love the white rope on the operators (Delta). So realistic. I am amazed.

Robert Forster was absolutely brilliant in the movie. He played the Middle Eastern terrorist perfectly. I didn't realise he was an American actor until some time after watching this movie.

In fairness, the hostage drama on board the aircraft is more than compelling enough to keep me watching, but the sheer giddiness I get from watching Chuck Norris, Lee Marvin and their boys suit up for business and take no prisoners is beyond words I can describe with! So much bloody fun! Excellent stuff, brilliantly staged action sequences, high octane, totally over the top but you just can’t stop watching it! An absolute classic!

I love this movie. A kid growing up in the 80's. These were real American Heros. But the sequel is one of the worst possible sequels in the history of movies. All the characters in this movie were great. Especially Lee Marvin
