Thanks for the great video! Is there a workaround to split the keyboard view to two instruments? How about layering two synths and playing them simultaneously?
@RSKT_music9 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching! I'm not sure about splitting the keyboard. Unless that's implemented with the open-source firmware at some point, you might be waiting for a while though. As for playing two synths simultaneously - you apparently can with the latest firmware, using MIDI loopback I believe. I haven't experimented with this much myself, but definitely have a look through the release notes for more info, and don't forget to ask the discord if you get stuck cause the devs for it are all on there and are really helpful. :)

Thanks for another great video! Two very common uses of raised notes are the harmonic and melodic minor scales, especially for certain styles of music where you really want a proper leading tone in your scale (which the natural minor lacks)

No worries! Thanks for sharing that info! Unfortunately, my knowledge of scales isn't the best. As a guitarist, I've fallen into the trap of regognising patterns before the notes. I'll give your method a go :) Cheers.

Changing scales on the fly, can give nice melodic results 👍

Thanks so much! Don't forget that you can always resample the sound of you changing the scales if you want to have different scales playing over one another (lol, for better or for worse).

Hold down a chord and turn the (v^) and () knobs for a fun way to play the keyboard! :) Can do stepped "pitch bending" with () or get some strumming effects with a quick turn of (v^)
