They already do in Assam, there is a Meitei autonomous district council demand in Cachar. GOI will never ever agree SA/UT for Kukis because: 1) It'll be a domino effect in almost all the states of India. 2) Kukis using violence as a means to an end will not come to fruition because it'll be a playbook for other communities aspiring for separation. 3) Kukis history is well documented about being non indigenous in Manipur, so.. think about it, history cannot be rewritten. 4) If Manipur breaks India will also break, period.
