His take on Doc Holliday is absolutely peerless, he's brilliant in Heat and Top Gun and he was also great in The Ghost and the Darkness.

no mention that he has throat cancer and literally can't talk... this vid is more like a hit peice omitting some crucial facts.
@Bale4Bond7 күн бұрын
@@kizunadragon9 What does his throat cancer (that he himself refused to get treatment for, due to being aligned with some weird cult that refuses medical treatment) have to do with him being a pain in the ass way before that?
@caramia41437 күн бұрын
Him having throat cancer doesn't excuse anything he's done or said in the past. So a celebrity gets sick and now all of a sudden you can't say anything negative about them? 🙄
@kizunadragon97 күн бұрын
@@caramia4143 oh you absolutely can, but this vid makes it seem like hes not working because hes an asshole, but the truth is hes not working because the man can't speak
@Dustballguy7 күн бұрын
I wouldn't say so much a "hit" Piece, but there could have been maybe an additional 30 seconds for later career plus kiss kiss bang bang rocks and he was great in it. If it wasn't for him getting sick, could have had a quality resurgence. Heck, Val kilmer could have been a great bad guy in the marvel universe. Val kilmer Von Doom has a ring to it.

The throat cancer diagnosis was in 2015. The timeline of the video was way before that. Not being cold I've seen what cancer does to people but it was not part of the video timeline

Strange that you say he has "a ill temper" but when he made THE GHOST AND THE DARKNESS in South Africa in 1996, people who worked with him said he was very easy to get along with. He even bought his driver a car!

While I know how big Arnie was during the 90s, he would pretty much be the last person I could think of as The Saint.
@andrewgardner89723 күн бұрын
Movies like the first two terminator movies, total recall, red heat, true lies and eraser showed that Arnold Schwarzenegger could do that type of role like the saint. But I can settle for Val Kilmer.

The man caught throat cancer for Gods sake! He didn’t “fall off”. More like couldn’t work anymore. Val was one of my favs growing up. He killed it in almost all his roles.

I'm a big Val fan but his career fell off like a decade before he had throat cancer.

The Salton Sea in 2002 was a great underrated movie. I don;t his behavior while acting , but I do know he is a great actor.

Man, this was a weird script. So much of verbal tense used made the script sound like a blow-by-blow of a star-studded party just witnessed by a paparazzo…as if this paparazzo is retelling the night’s events the next day in a newspaper gossip column. Did you use AI to help you write some or most of this? Seriously, some of your scripts are spot on and then some are like this which feel like they were written in bizzaro land. I’m critiquing you only because I see your channel has much potential to grow into something quite big. Perhaps, English isn’t your first language? If it isn’t, then I apologize for my heavy handed criticism. Really, I’m not trying to belittle you or make you feel inferior. I’m just bewildered by the uneven quality of your scripts.

This is one of first scripts I had translated from another language in 2023. I don't think I even gave it to somebody for proofreading. And it was voiced over also in 2023, one of the first videos I made. AI wouldn't make so many mistakes. Everybody who claim "AI 100%" just never worked with AI.

I just bought The Saint on DVD. I’ve heard of Red Planet. I actually loved Batman forever. Val Kilmer was one of the great stars from the 90s. I like his films. Great video!!

I'd heard that hed been diagnosed with mental health issues requiring medication, which had cumilated in Australia on the set of 'The Island of Doctor Moreau', which may have explained Joel Schumacher calling him 'the most psychologically damaged human being he had ever met', however I can't find the original articles supporting that claim anymore.

He had problems with Schumacher because Joel literally ruined the Batman franchise in the 1990s.

Val is a great actor but movies like The Saint and Batman Forever probably were not the best fit because those are movie star roles. I don't think Val ever really wanted to be this movie star in big budget blockbuster movies.
