Hi Mr. Sinn! For practice question number 2, I don’t understand why the answer is C:stage 3. Why would it not be stage 5? The cdr is decreasing throughout all the stages. The cbr only decreases from stage 3 to stage 5, and the NIR only goes down in stage 5.
@coveredtuba9266 Жыл бұрын
Broo lowk what I was thinking too. Because stage five is the only stage where NIR has a downward slope.

noooo, the key phrasing that he uses is that "the crude death rate has been decreasing for a while BUT RECENTLY they saw a decrease in crude birth rate". Since he uses the word recently, we should assume it has just occurred, what in what stage do we start seeing the fall of CBR? Stage 3. Also NIR doesn't just go down in stage 5, there is also low NIR in stage 3 too since women start to join the economy.

Is old age also a cause of deaths in stage 5?

I never believe the world will become over populated. Over densed yes. Too much space and nature always balances it out. This idea came from greedy mindsets that have already benefited from the backs of others people's lands and created a certain standard. Imagine if European never left Europe, or the world trade never happened to make Asia boom in tech to compete. Ancient Africa traveled and were rich and never tainted the world so I wonder how the destruction of their civilization played a roll in this. Anyways.....the world would be at balanced. Humans living in nature not over producing toxins. Yes our lives would be shortened but they would be full or purpose, the world would be beautiful and not just working to death at a desk job. Anyways, humans have a terrible mindset and there is no over population, just overly dense areas and toxic ways ways. I loved my college courses

Isn't no.2 D?
@Yasmine-ri1sk Жыл бұрын
no, Stage 4 is where a society will see ZPG (Zero Population Growth), meaning the crude birth rate and crude death rate are virtually the same. Stage 3 is where the CBR first decreases, along with the NIR!
