Whoever thought of this episode was brilliant their worst demon with Cole’s power/invincibility I mean it’s one of the worst case scenarios they could’ve came up with and just another reason why Season 5 is my favorite.

You know. I feel like there was a missed opportunity here lol. Like Prue was afraid of drowning like Patty. And Barbas could have made Paige afraid too
@DavidKen8788 ай бұрын
Barbas didn't have the power to create fear.
@COSMICCFREQUENCY1447 ай бұрын
barbas couldn't do anything to create fear, his power wasn't manipulation or telepathy, his power was to use the fear people had inside them (particularly witches) to scare them to death.

I hated how they went from defending/toleranting cole to absolutely despising him, they made it nonbelieve, they should've made it to Phoebe not being in love with cole but still caring for him and being a good friend
@sweetcupcake40810 ай бұрын
The writers ruined his character during Season 5, where turning Cole evil from mid season 4 through 5 was a huge letdown. Cole was truly trying to be good because he was happy and in love with Phoebe. Also, I liked how Cole was the expertise on all the events that occurs among demons and warlocks which gave the Charmed Ones an upper hand on how to vanquish them.

True but I think they had to find a way for us to no longer like him as a audience because the actor had to leave the show for other work opportunities so this was their way of writing him out of the series I mean once he started trying to kill Paige and Piper there was no real way of redeeming him and also there was no way in any reality where Phoebe and Cole could just be friends.
@sweetcupcake40810 ай бұрын
@@rayquancaldwell2548 you’re absolutely right, Julian McMahon wanted to leave the show to explore other upcoming shows and movies. I think most of the fans are upset over the fact, that Phoebe and Cole didn’t end up together forever. Also, it’s frustrating how Cole’s character lack consistency and overall redemption in the end, because what was the whole purpose of Cole being good for the half Season 3 through Season 4 ? It was pretty obvious, the writers couldn’t make up their minds if they wanted Cole to be good or evil.
@rickyspanish233710 ай бұрын
@rayquancaldwell2548 yea, they did wrote his character well for those reasons and I never knew that's why his character got axed
@COSMICCFREQUENCY1447 ай бұрын
@@sweetcupcake408 you c missed the point of Cole characters, Cole was a half demon.half human, he wasn't "good", he was literally born on the cusp of half evil and half human, his character arc was his constant battle between picking good and evil and which direction to go in, when he lost his powers he felt a void within him as he had them for over 100 years. Phoebe like Cole had a battle between good and evil as she was th only one born in the charmed house, under the Nexus, with her evil past life and constant sway between the inner good and inner evil, Phoebe and Cole connected through that. However they were never going to end up together, Phoebe dated a demon and was evil in her past life, which is what got her power lessened in the current one. The only thing good about Cole was his love for Phoebe with his human half.

The writing doesn't make any sense... How could he become the next source, when the end of season 4 stated that kind of initiation is impossible due to the fact, that the Grimoire ended up in a volcano.... So he could become leader of the underworld, but not the next source... the writing was so damn fucked up at this point...
@rayquancaldwell254810 ай бұрын
True but with all the powers/invincibility he had at that time even without the initiation he could still take over the underworld with ease no one down there would’ve been able to rival him even if there was another Source in power at that time Cole still would’ve been able to take them out remember the episode where The Source got inside of Piper’s head and Cole was just Belthazor and he almost took him out with a mega energy ball so with all the powers he has now he doesn’t really need the initiation because he already has the power equivalent if not greater than The Source.

Cole's powers were even stronger than the Source's, don't forget they tried the Source vanquishing spell on Cole and it didn't work.

I hate cole, but i think fans of him an non fans a like can agree he should've died in season 4 & stayed dead, his sudden return made no sense. I love this show, but brad kern isn't a great writer.

I like Cole but I like his demonic side as Belthazor better. Because they shouldn't have made a potion to free Cole. Because they couldn't vanquish Belthazor on their own or together. Yeah if I was a demon then I'd help Belthazor to vanquish the charmed ones.
