Great explanations of this passage, it does seem to be a “go-to” verse for defending the lie about the dead. I will be sharing this video. Thanks!

Was so good, as a young girl I got info like this, mother in law very much, and yes, it messed with my belief and was inaccurate, was a lie in the end, set free, many years later, in Yahushua, 24/7 at 52😁🙌🕊 Good video, I will be sending out, thank you… Shalom🕊🌺

This is a great breakdown, but in the context of the larger discussion of what happens when you die, what would you say happened at the transfiguration in Matthew 17 where we see Moses and Elijah? I pretty much hold to the rule that we are dead (or as scripture puts it, asleep) until the day of resurrection, but I am not sure what to make of the prophets at the transfiguration. Is this just an exception to the rule? Were they raised in some spiritual sense, or have they already had the full resurrection with a new body as well for them to appear here?

Whats the difference between your views and jehovahs witnesses. Because they also believe in what you say.

Great question....without going into too much detail here, they believe Jesus started ruling in heaven in 1914 (seems really random, no verse to back this up), and they believe that only 144,000 will be resurrected to life in heaven to rule with Jesus, those are the big things...however, there are other small things we disagree on. One similarity they have with Biblical Unitarianism is that unbelievers don't suffer in hell eternally.
