The grind i had getting the pure bladestone and other upgrade mats in this game made this my longest plat of the souls series

spoilers/tips ahead: great luck on the bladestone i cant believe it dropped so fast for you (took me close to 5 hours overall of strait up grinding for it over several sessions.) quick tips though there are 2 drop rates in demons souls 1 is for the chance of an item to drop at all this is whats affected by all drop chance items (sword of searching/luck/coins in the remaster) the drop table is affected by tendancy (white leans toward healing items and black leans toward non-healing drops) in the case of the blade-stone the only thing that affects it is tendancy so unless you really just want to use the blueblood sword (totally understandable its bad a**) luck and sword of searching are a waste of time tl;dr the only imp[ortant part of bladestone farming is world tendency (this does not take into account any of the farming for mobs that dont have a guarantee of a drop happening)

I always did love a DeX build with an uchi and meat cleaver. Never knew I could duplicate items. Would have made grinding much easier.
