Yes, ooooo bro Isaac , Denkyira is the first kingdom in Ghana when there were many chiefs as clan leaders at the time but no king . And has trained a lot of chiefs and kings such as Kofi Sei Tutu of kwaman who became the ( Asa N'ti king ) . Okomfoɔ Anokye of Agona ( chief ) and formal Akwamu king Ansa Sasraku who led the Akwamu's from Twifɔ to( Okreɛ Akwamu) currently Akwapim . Kingdom history started in Ghana from Denkyira since 1500 by our great ancestors Nana Yaa Ayekra Adeboa ( the fetish priestesses ) with the BANKAMDWA, the beads STOOL . Pls let's pursue our history , culture., and tradition , Am a Pastor though but since I'm a Denkyira Royal from Nsuayem l, Sobroso, and A'wia wia palace around Ayanfuri , I was taught at age ten when I was in Dunkwa . Even the Bible is full of, history, Events, culture, tradition, sites and dates of events ( Theology ) . God bless you Sir,

Thanks for that. From what I know, Komfo Anokye had misunderstanding with Denkyira and Barima Kofi Sei (Osei Tutu) had an illicit liaison with the sister of Denkyira Hene in whose court he was serving. There was therefore a plan to do away with Kofi Sei. Kofi Sei's slave heard of the plot and informed him. Kofi Sei therefore fled to Akwamu (to the court of Ansa Sasraku?). His uncle (Kwaman Hene died) when he was in Akwamu. The then heir apparent was reluctant to be enstooled as Kwaman Hene (they had just lost a war with Dormaa). Komfo Anokye encouraged his friend Kofi Sei to ascend the Kwaman stool which he did. He avenged the defeat of his uncle by Dormaa. He later formed a union with other Amanhene (Asante) to fight against the Denkyira with the help of Komfo Anokye. Some prominent Denkyira detected to Asante during the war. Barima Kofi Sei's slave who saved his life by informing him of the plot to kill him in Denkyira, became the first Bantama Hene

Denkyira is one of the 12 tribes/ state of the Akan nation ie Denkyira, Adansi, Bono, Sefwi,Nsema,Akwamu, Akuapim, Wassa, Aowin, Ahanta, Assin and Fanti .All the 12 tribes belongs to the 8 Clans of the Akan nation ie Oyoko, Asona, Eduana, Ekuona, Bretuo ,Asekyiri Agona and Asenie .None of these 12 tribes migrated from Egypt , Israel, Mesopotamia or any other country, to live naked on the Promised land. If Denkyira is 'Piesie' , a Piesie is the first born .So who gave birth to the 'Piesie'? Where is the mother of the Piesie, Manu and Mensah? Moreover, Denkyira as a tribe or state never raised arms or conquered any of the Akan tribes as erroneously told. What happened was that, when the Portuguese arrived in the Akan nation 1471 and wanted to exploit the gold resources in Adansi, they recruited men from the Denkyira state as a militia force and used them to overthrow the Clan rulers in Adansimanso (Adansi) and built a mining camp named Abankesieso near Essumegya, Adansimanso and Fehyiese around 1480's ,where the recruits from Denkyira ensured force labour and payments of tributes in gold to the Portuguese. This caused the exodus of Clans migrating from Adansimanso to Akyem Abuakwa ( Okye-Abuka) Mampon, Edweso, Offinso, Kokofu, Juaben, Beposo, Nsuta etc .We have to know that, the 12 tribes are one people with the Afina-kwa as their symbol of Authority, in the custody of the occupant of the Ekuona stool in Adansi. Every Akan is named after the Afina-kwa. Females are named after Afina and every Male is named after Kwa. We must also know that, the Denkyira state was never a Kingdom. What is erroneously described as' Denkyira Kingdom' was the Portuguese militia force at Abankesieso who were paid to subject the people of Adansi to gain freehold on the gold resources. Nana Osei was one of the servants serving the Denkyira recruited militia commander at Abankesieso. He impregnated the sister of the Commandant ,Ako Abena Bansua and fearing for his life, escaped to the Akwamu state where he returned later with Nana Amankwatia, Komfo Anokye and 300 armed Akwamu soldiers, given to him by Nana Ansa Sasraku to form the Asa-nti armed forces to overthrow the Denkyira militia force at Abankesieso . Where the Commandant, Nana Ntim Gyakari in attempt to escape, was captured at Fehyiese and beheaded. The remaining militia men escaped to the Denkyira state under Nana Buadu Akefun who inherited Nana Ntim Gyakari. He invited warriors from Takyiman and Akyem Abuakwa to retake Abankesieso but were brutally defeated. Those from Akyem Abuakwa settled at Buabinso while those from Takyiman settled at Diaso to date.It took some years for the Exiled militia force in Denkyira to reign supreme in the Denkyira state. As a result, the Denkyira war Commander has no land of his own in the Denkyira state. If not the fact that,Nana Opoku Ware seized Ahafo land from the Sefwi army commander Ebiri Moro, it would be said that, the Asa-nti ,Abuakwa and Denkyira war Commanders have no land of their own. Except by conquest, every land in the Akan nation belongs to the Clans and not the warriors, commanders or chiefs. Colonization by the British gave undeserved status to chiefs or war Commanders. The truth is that Denkyira was under Adanse hegemony for a long time until they broke free through war and became the dominant empire for years. Kwaman united under the first Asantehene Opemsuo Osei Tutu to conquer the Denkyiras. Abankesieso or Banso, the capital of ancient Denkyira was sacked. They were forced across the Pra river and found refuge among the Assin and Twifo. It was during these difficult times that they founded Jukwa. In the cosmology of the Denkuiras, Banso, though non existent still remains their spiritual and ancestral home. Denkyira was built along the Ofin river and therefore was called Ofinba. Denkyira had powerful kings among whom are Werempe Ampem, Boa Amponsem, Ntim Gyakari, Kyei Akoben, Gyan Badu, Amoako Atta Panin, Amoako Atta Kuma, Kwadwo Otibo and many more. The Agona clan popularly known as Ago Nana originates from ancient Denkyira. It was Denkyira that controlled all the forts and castles at Cape Coast, Elmina and others and collected the ground rents. Once Asante overthrew the kingdom, they seized all documents related to the forts and the castles. The history of Asante is inextricably bound with that of Denkyira. Every Agona stool in Asante and elsewhere is traceable to ancient Denkyira. The puts the Bono town of Nkyeraa as one of the ancient settlements after the collapse of the earlier empires like Songhai, Ghana and Mali.

Denkyira controlled what forts ? Do you know the history of Elmina and Cape Coast? Denkyira came to meet them. Even the land they are staying on at Jukwa was given to them by Oguaa. All the castle money were paid to Oguaa and Eguafo kings respectively. After the Dutch defeated the Eguafo and the Portuguese, Elmina castle fell under Dutch control. Fantes were enemies with the Dutch so the Dutch paid ground rents to Ashanti because they traded with them. Elmina fell under Dutch control. The only castle rent that was being paid to Ashanti was Elmina. Cape Coast castle has always been paid to Oguaa. Oguaa and Eguafo have been on the coast for about 1000 years.

Master stop that nonsense you have been defeated by the Asante. Asante defeated every kingdom on the world 🌎. They fought every kingdom and defeated 🤴 everyone in Ghana 🇬🇭. Ghana is Asante and Asante and Asante is Ghana 🇬🇭.

It doesn't cost anything to be truthful. This guy is going in circles trying to lie about history. Ntim Gyakari was captured and killed by the Ashantis during the battle of Feyiase. Go back and learn your history lesson well.
