I googled "Yaa Asantewaa Museum" and i was very sad. With all the great history and how we respect Yaa Asantewaa, it's a shame the museum has not been looked after since it was destroyed by fire in 2004. Television CK, could you kindly go the museum when you can to raise awareness? Medaase

There was nothing like Ejisu-Juaben district then. Juaben has always been a very powerful autonomous state within the Ashanti Federation and therefore separate from the Ejisu state.

Is so unfortunate that Nana Antoa Mensah, who was then the Army Commander to Yaa Asantewaa, his name is always missing from Asante history, he was close to arrest then governor Hudson of Kumasi and his wife when they escaped, Nana Antoa Mensah was arrested by the British and sent to Usser Fort and Nana Yaa Asantewaa was deported to Seychelles Island, let’s always remember our unseen hero’s of Asantes.

Infact the British took away the golden stool, In the 1970s there were negotiations between the Ashanti kingdom & the British for the golden stool to be returned And there were rumors that the one Britain brought to us was replica My question here? is it sacred as the original? Such sacred items must never cross the borders out of the throne
