I beat him with no Rages, but 4 barriers. My hero was lvl 39, and the lowest was 38.

I beat him with 1 Barrier, Great Haste and +4 Dark Resist on all party members except from Main Denpa. We were all level 45 or so. I made sure to grind hard or put the gear on. The enemies couldn't do any damage.
